"So?" Asks Lily a few minutes later as Ginny finishes eating.
"Well...."
Lily raises an eye brow.
"I..."
She sighs.
"Harry and I used to date in my fifth year."
Lily smiles.
"I knew it."
"Anyway..... We stopped dating because of... Certain issues involving Voldemort. We then became friends. Really.... Good friends."
Lily raises her eye brow again.
"So your.... Together?" She asks.
Ginny shakes her head.
"Not exactly. We're just really close and one night I guess we... I don't know. We were drunk and were both going through rough times and we....." She trails off.
"So you've slept with my son?" Asks Lily, a hint of discipline and a hint of amusement in her eyes.
Ginny nods.
"So your..... Friends with benefits?"
She shrugs.
"I guess."
"Multiple times?" Asks Lily.
"Yes." She answers simply.
"And I'm guessing that my sons sex isn't whats bothering you?" Ginny shakes her head.
"Its just...." She looks at her feet, her hair covering her face.
"Let me tell you something. I had Harry when I was 20. I became pregnant with him when I was 19. You have nothing to be ashamed of. And... I'm pregnant with my second now...."
Ginny's head snaps up.
"Really?"
Lily nods.
"Oh congratulations!"
She says with a smile as she stands up and pulls Lily into a bone crushing hug.
"Thanks, I... Wait, we die before they're born don't we." She says.
Its a statement.
Not a question.
Ginny slowly pulls away and nods.
Tears begin to fall rapidly from Lily's eyes as she chokes out.
"But it's so soon. Harry... He's just a baby." She chokes out.
"Come here" Ginny whispers as she pulls her into a hug.
After a few moments, tears being shared by both, they pulled apart.
"I... I'm sorry, what were you saying?" Asks Lily.
Ginny gives her a small smile.
Stubborn women, just like her son, she thinks to herself.
"Anyway, the last time we, you know, I guess we didn't do the spell properly and I...."
Lily gasps.
"Your pregnant?"
Ginny nods.
