Chapter 18- Sakura's Plan

Sakura

"So you and Kaede are close?" Tanong ni Takashi. May something sa tao na ito na mali. He looks fine. Matangkad sa akin pero mas maliit kay Kiro. He looks normal not like Kiro na super gwapo.
"Like cats and dogs..." I said. Tumawa si Takashi sa joke ko.
"Why are you with him...by the way?"
"I visited him... Mom's orders. He hasn't gone back since he took over his... you know." Nagkibit balikat ako. Biglang nawalan ng lasa ang mga pagkain na hinain sa amin. Napaka dami niyang tanong about Kiro.
"I see. We all thought that he died on that fire. Such a tragic event. Do you sleep at his house or hotel? I heard that your house here was demolished."
"I am sleeping in one of his guest rooms. Mom's orders again."
"Your mom trusted him so much." I heard a different note on his voice buy he cover it with a smile. His glasses are not fooling me. Hindi malabo ang mata niya. Walang grado ang salamin niya.
"Yes... He is the firstborn in our family." Tumawa ulit si Takashi.
"I heard your visit in our house. You have spoken to my dad." Straight na sabi ko.
Uminom ng tea si Takashi at nilusog pataas ang salamin. "Yes. Well, did your dad discussed to you my intention?"
"He did," I replied.
Bumuntong hininga si Takashi. "It's good then. I was expecting different reactions from you, really?"
"Like what?" Tanong ko.
"You seem so calm discussing this. I thought you will be...shock I guess." Sabi nito.

"What can you say about my proposal? It is an arranged marriage after all." Tanong nito.
It's my turn to drink my tea. I was saved to answer his question when a man approaches us. Muntik na akong mapaso ng tsaa nang makilala ko si Mr. Song.
"Takashi...it's nice to see you here." Bati nito. Magkakilala sila?! Mukhang close pa.
Pinakilala ako ni Takashi. Mabuti na lang at wala akong extension at make up. Makilala nya kaya ako.
"Mr. Song, I would like you to meet Ms. Sakura Fujihara. Daughter of Ayano Fujihara of Fujihara Group of Companies. Sakura, this is Mr. Chin Hwa Song. Associates of mine."
"Hello, Ms. Fujihara. I didn't mean to disturb your meal. I just greeted a friend." Sabi nito. Nakatitig sa mukha ko.
"Oh, no worries." I calculated a smile. "We have finished already." Sagot ko.
"Have we met?" Tanong ni Mr. Song.
"I'm afraid not." Maikling sagot ko.
"Maybe I just saw you on magazine or news." Sabi ni Mr. Song.
"Probably," I replied. Tumayo ako at humarap kay Takashi.
"I'm afraid that my mom called my brother again and he sends his trusted man already. Takashi, thank you for the lunch. Mr. Song, it's a pleasure to meet you." I bow in front of them and hurried to Asahi who is sitting a few tables from me and trying his best not to look like he is following me.
"Let's go, Uncle." Medyo may kalakasang sabi ko para marining ni Takashi.

Habang nasa daan kami, tinawagan ko si Xykie.
"Bestie, bakit?" Tanong niya.
"Hanapin mo ang connection ni Mr. Song at Takashi. Magkakilala sila Xyk. They are really close."
"Shit...teka... I will dig further. Balitaan kita." Sabi ni Xykie.

Naghihintay sa labas ng building si Kiro ng dumating kami ni Asahi.
"What happened?" Tanong nito. Mukhang nag-aalala din siya.
"Inside..." Bulong ko sa kanya.

He closed the door when we entered his office leaving me pacing in front of him.
"Okay ka lang?" Tanong ni Kiro sa akin.
"Namukhaan yata ako ni Mr. Song."I told him. Napatayo ng deretso si Kiro at akmang lalabas. I hold his hand to stop him.
"Hindi ko sure. Tinanong niya lang kung nagkita na kami before. Sabi ko hindi. Naparanoid lang siguro ako." I said. "Magkakilala sila ni Takashi. They are really close." I informed him.
"What?" Tanong ni Kiro. Mukhang galit na naman siya.
"Pinapahanap ko na kay Xyk ang connection nila. Don't do anything. Let's pretend that you don't know anything. Please, Kiro."
Huminga ng malalim si Kiro.
"You will not talk to Takashi again."Sabi nito.
"Pero..."
"No buts, Sakura. For once makinig ka." Sabi nito.
"Ako lang ang makakalapit kay Takashi. Makakakuha ako ng lead from him."
"No." Iling ni Kiro.
"Kiro... Alam mong kaya kong ipagtanggol ang sarili ko."
"Hindi ka nga nananalo sa akin sa sparing." Seryosong sagot nito.
"Kiro, please. I need to do this."
"No Sakura. I will not let you put yourself in danger. I lost my parents I will not lose you, you hear me." Sumabog na naman sa galit si Kiro. He went in front of me that I need to look up just to see him clearly.
"Kung haharang ka sa mission ko, then I will accept Takashi's proposal just to get information from him."
Hinawakan ako sa magkabilang balikat ni Kiro at saka inalog.
"Damn you, wake up. He is no good for you. Don't be so stupid."
Tinanggal ko ang kamay niya sa balikat ko. But he hugged me. So tight...
"I will not lose you." Sabi niya. "Don't accept his proposal. Don't marry him. Don't do this."

"It's either him or you. I will give you the decision, Kiro." Kumawala ako sa pagkakayakap niya bago pa ako masanay.
"Remember that I am a Shadow. Team tayo sa mga laban mo. Let me do my work, Kiro. At pag-isipan mo din kung tatanggapin mo ang alok ko. It's him or you. The choice is yours." Iniwan ko si Kiro na nakatulala. Damn him...Kapag pinili nyang si Takashi ang pakasalan ko, lagot na ako. Sabi ko lang hindi ko siya pipikutin...Joke lang yun. Pipikutin ko talaga siya kahit gamitin ko pa ang arrange marriage na agreement na mas matanda pa sa akin.
