Chapter 31

Liam's P.O.V

It's been a whole week. A whole week of getting Gracie to smile or say something and a whole week of an angry and frustrated Harry and Louis.

Everything is falling apart. Gracie won't eat, Louis doesn't talk much, and Harry really wants attention from Gracie. He used to be the only one to help her but she cringes away from all of us, whenever we try and touch her she flitches away.

I was sitting on the couch reading when I saw Gracie come in with the doll I bought her. she say me and I patted my lap. She turned around and walked away and I finally broke, she hates us, I started crying softly as I saw her leave. A sob escaped my mouth unwillingly and I closed the book and put my face in my hands and just cried.

After a minute or two I felt a hand rub my knee. I looked down and I saw Gracie standing there with a confused look in her eyes.

"Li" she asked quietly.

I looked at her and didn't know what to do. she lifted her hands up and I picked her up. I hugged her tight and she played with the back of head. rubbing over the buzz cut I had.

"Don't hate us baby" I whispered while rocking her.

She removed her head from my shoulder and looked at me, more confused but sad this time.

"I no mad Li" she whispered.

"Then why baby, why don't you come to us anymore" I whimpered. I probably sounded really pathetic right now.

"Daddy and eweyone will hwurt mwe" she said looking down. Before I could reply to what she had to say, I was interrupted by Harry coming downstairs.

He sat down next to me and to be honest he looked horrible. his hair wasn't as shinny and soft and his eyes were red and puffy.

I whispered in Gracie's ear "Go to harry love" she looked at me and then at Harry and she crawled to him slowly.

He opened his arms and she got into them quickly. I saw a few tears fall and she huffed. she looked up at him and looked into his eyes.

"I sowy Wiam and Hawy" I heard her tiny voice say. she looked down and I saw a few tears fall. Harry whipped them off and he kissed her cheek.

"All is forgive love it's alright" I said while combing through her curls.

Harry placed another kiss on her cheek. she giggled and it was cute. she is cute.

Harry P.O.V

Gracie giggled when I kissed her all over her little face. I got an idea and laid her on the carpet. She giggled even more.

"You find this funny baby, I'm going to punish you" I said while laughing

She looked at me wide eyed for a second and whimpered.

"No no love he wasn't going to hit you or anything" Liam said reassuringly.

She looked up at me and then at Liam and she burst into laughter. I looked at he confused.

"Got youi" she yelled while laughing.
I pulled my face down towards her and she grabbed my nose and started laughing harder. I smiled at her making sure my dimples were on show. Her dimples were showing so I poked one. she laughed and pocked mine.

I started tickling her, she was laughing so hard her face was turning red. I laughed at her and picked her up. she put her head on my shoulder and she started playing with my curls.

"Yucky" she yelled.

"What's yucky love" I asked her

"Hawey youu hwair is yucky and icky" she said while turning to face me. I laughed at her and handed her to Liam.

"Mate give her milk I'm going to shower and wash my hair" I said

He laughed and nodded at me, I got up and he got up and went to the kitchen.
