Him..

There are only few, but they scared her with their questions.

"Mr. Parker, is this your date for tonight's gala?" One photographer asked, snapping pictures.

"Mr. Parker, Who is she?" Another one asked, holding a recorder in our direction.

"Mr. Parker, you have been seen with her multiple times now, do you care to comment?" Another one asked.

"Mr. Parker, would you care to comment on the rumor of you and Lauran Patrick dating? And how do you think she'll react when she knows you're dating someone else?" Another one accused.

"Come on." I held her hand and started walking to the car. The paparazzi kept following us and taking even more pictures of us holding hands. Emma's hand was shaking in mine and she hid her face in my shoulder. I wrapped my arm around her waist and dragged her to the car.

"Mr. Parker, does this mean that you're no longer single?" Another one conclude.

"Mr. Parker, this is the first time you're seen holding hands with someone, would you please care to comment?" Another one shot. I opened the door for her then went inside the car myself. Without a word and in a second, we were out of there.

"Fuck!" I cursed out loud and ran a hand through my hair.

"What was that?" She sounded out of breath. I quickly took a look at her, to see she was about to cry.

"Paparazzi. Are you okay?" I asked and glimpsed at her again.

"Yeah." She breathed. I slowed the car then stopped at the side of the road. I shifted in my seat and faced her.

"Emma, look at me." I took her hands in mine.

"Are you okay?" I asked again. She looked at me and nodded, her eyes watering.

"Oh, god." I snaked my arms under her and pulled her to my lap. She instantly hugged me and started crying.

"It's okay. They're gone now. I'm sorry, I have no idea how they followed us here." I whispered, caressing her back, as she hid her face between my neck and shoulder.

"Why are you crying, baby?" I asked again when she didn't reply.

"They surprised me. I'm sorry." She sat up a little and wiped her face. My cell phone buzzed and she scooped back to her seat.

"Jake?"

"What the fuck happened!?" He shouted through the phone.

"It's out already?" I balled my fists.

"Is she okay? She looks terrified." He asked.

"She's crying." I looked at her and she wiped her face again.

"That's a fraction of what will be there tonight, especially after these photos! You're practically hugging her and getting her in the car. They're not going to leave her alone." He was right.

"Have two bodyguards assigned to her by this evening, Jake. Someone we trust." I instructed.

"How about Henry and William? They're the best at the job." He suggested.

"Perfect. Call them, now." I commanded

"Say Please." Emma hissed at me and took a tissue out.

"Did she just tell you to say Please?" He asked in amusement and I smiled.

"Yes. Please, Jake?" I said and he gasped.

"Oh, boy. She's good. How is she now?" He laughed at me.

"She's fine. I'll take her home." I stated
