Him...

"I knew it was him! That bastard!" Drake hit the steering wheel as he drove us to his brother's house.

"Now we have him by the balls. He will have no other choice than to get back to London or I swear I'll put his ass in jail."

I already want to put his ass in jail but I have to respect Drake's wishes. Normally I wouldn't have given a fuck, but after all his help and his new friendship with not just Emma but all of us, I have to do this for him.

Jake's photo appeared on my phone as he called.

"We got him, dude. Matt confessed." I explained.

"And what are you going to do now?" Jake asked.

"We're heading to his place. He either leaves the whole damn country and not think twice about coming back or he spends his time here in prison."

"Perfect. Keep me updated." He ended the call.

"Look, dude," Drake started, "I'm sorry, on his behalf, you know, for all the shit he has caused your family. We have caused your family. And I'm talking years back, too. I don't even know why but I've always loathed you." He shrugged.

"Well, that's nice of you to say." I mocked him.

"I'm serious, man. I just hated how perfect your life has always seemed to be, you know? It seemed like everything came so easily to you. Wealth that could provide even your great grandchildren comfortable lives, women who threw themselves at your feet, friends who always had your back, a perfect united family who would do anything for you, you just had everything. Everything I ever wanted." He looked at the road ahead with dread, as if the words were venomous in his mouth.

"I on the other hand, felt self pity every time I compared myself to you. I worked so damn hard for my company and my brother just keeps bringing it to the grounds every time he has the opportunity. I have no family but him and you can see how fucked up he is. I tried for so long to fix him, to make things right between us, you know? He was my only brother, I had no one else and I wasn't really good with keeping friends around." He sighed, "but every single time I tried to work things out between us, he would fuck it all up again. And even the only woman I truly loved, he fucked her too. He ruined my life. I want him gone."

"And now you have the chance to ruin his. Yet, you chose to give him another chance. To let him go. And that shows how different you are from him, how much better. Even though he deserves way more than a couple of years in prison, you still decided to set him free, away from you. You know what Emma would say?" I asked, with a warm smile on my lips.

"Something cheesy, I'm sure." He chuckled.

"She would say that that is exactly why your life is going to turn upside down and you're going to be surprised of how happy you will get. That that is exactly what a goodhearted person would do, and fate just loves to reward those of a good heart. Yes, your life must have not been easy, but you just have to wait and see how differently it's going to go." I smiled.

"Show me your tits, woman." He demanded.

"Fuck off." I snapped and he laughed for a minute.

"Thank you, I appreciate that and I do hope you're right. We're here." He announced.

Her...

"Dean is going to kill me. I don't get how you convinced me to do this. He's going to kill me." Jake shook his head in what could be translated as fear.

"What can I say? I'm persuasive." I shrugged with a smile as I climbed out of the car, wearing a white sleeveles dress and white sneakers.

"You were going to cry, what I was supposed to do?" He followed me.
