If Brock hadn't been trained every day of his life to get up at precisely 5:30, all of them would have probably slept through the whole day to get some well needed sleep. None of them were used to sleeping in an actual bed, so they were able to sleep much easier than they had previously slept. Once Brock had woken up, he was even tempted to stay in the bed, but his instincts forced him to get up and wake everyone else in the room.

Lui was arguably the hardest to wake up. Even with the help of Marcel's, Craig's, Jon's, and even Ryan's yelling, Lui barely budged. They were all about to give up, but Craig had an idea. He walked up to the small, sleeping figure and right next to his ear simply whispered, "If you don't wake up, we'll take away your gummy worms." putting emphasis on 'gummy worms'. As soon as those last words were spoken, The small man shot up faster than he had ever in his life. "Not the gummy worms!!" He exclaimed in his squeaker voice. They all laughed and Lui gained his composure and fully woke up."F**k you guys!" Lui said -this time in his normal voice- trying not to laugh.

Once they had all calmed down, they remembered where they were and the potential things they might have to do. All of them silently hoped that this place and this gang was better than the last one, but even Lui had to admit he was doubtful. They all knew that today they would be starting to help and do things. That means that today they would be learning the truth about this place.

They all started thinking about their own version of what they thought it would be like, and were only interrupted when a man in a suit and a panda hat walked into the room. (I was tempted to keep him in a speedo, but I thought it would be taken the wrong way by the ex-slaves.) "Hello to you all. My name's Anthony and I will be leading all of you to where you need to be!" They looked at each other wearily before Brock asked, "Master Anthony, where will you be taking us?" He visibly tensed up and responded, "You really don't need to add 'Master' to anyone's name. And I will be taking you to the main area. There you will meet a lot more of us and those who will be showing you the ropes of working here." As soon as he started to walk away and saw them start to crawl, he stopped and said, "You don't need to crawl, either." Once he saw them rise from the ground, he continued leading them to a big room that had 6 people waiting -most likely for them.

They recognized Nogla, a medium sized guy who calmed down Marcel at one point, a fairly tall guy who seemed familiar with a cybernetic eye, Evan, and another fairly tall guy who was also familiar. Craig also recognized Tyler, but that was only because Tyler helped him. "Alright," Evan began. "This is your first day that you will be working. I have assigned each of you to one of these men -including myself- in order for you to learn how things run around here."

Nogla stepped forward and said with a smile on his face, "Lui, you're wit' me. Come on." The short man immediately had a grin and ran over to the tall man as Nogla was walking away. The guy with a cybernetic eye -who was now recognized as one of the men who originally found them and was named Brian- spoke up next. "I'm supposed t'a be helpin' out Brock." Brock noticed now that Brian's voice had an Irish accent like Nogla, but was less thick and noticeable. It almost made him trust the man more, and so Brock reluctantly stepped forward and walked away with Brian. Tyler walked away with Craig, Luke went somewhere with Ryan, Scotty led Marcel to some place, and eventually it was just Evan and Jonathan.

"So, Jonathan, you'll be with me. Alright?" He just nodded his head and went toward the man. Evan motioned him to follow him, so that's exactly what Jonathan did. They arrived in a big room with a lot of equipment that looked foreign to Jonathan. He was pretty sure that it was training equipment, but the masked man wasn't entirely certain. "This is the training area. It's where I go to blow off steam. I figured that you might want to try taking whatever pent up feelings you have onto something. You can come here any time! Anyone can." He pointed at a large bag attached to the ceiling. "You can start off by punching that." Evan then gave Jonathan a pair of boxing gloves. The quiet man didn't know what to say other than, "Th-thank you..."

Brock couldn't help but look at the man in front of him. There was something about him that made him almost stand out from everything around them. Brock tried to keep telling himself to look at the floor in order to not anger Brian, but there was just something that seemed to allow Brock to forget every bad thing that happened to him.

As he realized Brian stopped walking, he shook those thoughts from his mind and stared at the floor. "Alright, we're here." Brock gazed upon the room in front of them and saw what looked like a living room; complete with couches, a TV, and some console that was hooked up to the TV. Brock had worked in enough houses to notice that a game was ready to play and two controllers were lying on a table. "I figured that before I start teachin' you all that you need to know, you'd probably need to trust me more. Plus, this means I can get out o' work."

Brian sat down on one of the couches and grabbed a controller. The other, unsure of what to do, sat next to him. The cyborg simply smiled and gave the other controller to Brock. Being stunned at this gesture, all Brock could think of saying was, "Thank you Maste- er..." When he saw that Brock didn't know what to call him, he kindly said, "You can just call me Brian. None of that master bullshit." The younger couldn't help but give a small smile at the man and feel a bit more comfortable now. It was then that Brock truly realized that this place might not be bad after all.
