Wolf in Sheep's Clothing

"No," Carnell's voice echoed from the stairs. He was stunned and in denial.

The mastermind under thier roof, greeted with open arms. Carnell repeatedly shook his head not wanting to see the guns now aimed behind him and following the enemies movement. He refused the looks of shock his brothers shared, the gasp that Audrey drew in suprise.

How could he be so stupid, so accepting, so niave to the facts.

There was a tap on his shoulder as reality trumped his denial.

"Believe it, bro," the familiar voice sounded normal yet felt like a punch in the gut to Carnell. He stopped shaking his head and saw the pale look on Bryan's face. His face personified the sickening feel that was built up in Carnell.

"Why," he rasped out still refusing to turn toward him. Curiosity wanted him to see what expression he held but that slight hint of denial not willing him the control of his body.

"That's the wrong question Carnell," Dustin uttered still in shock himself.

"Then what is the right question," Bryan inquired of his brother his face stricken with hurt and betrayal.
