Okay. Was this really happening? I was totally fangirling on the inside, but somehow I managed to stay somewhat calm on the outside. "Yeah, I'm waiting for a friend. She should be here any minute," I said, casually sipping my drink. I noticed my hands were trembling though so I quickly set it back down on the bar. "Would you like me to keep you company until she gets here?" he asked, smiling. "I mean, you don't have to," I said. "I don't mind, really. You shouldn't be at a place like this alone, anyway," he said, moving a little closer. He stuck out his hand to introduce himself. "Harry," he said. Yeah, like I didn't already know. I placed my hand in his and said, "Lex." "Lex? I take it your American, judging by your accent," he said. "You are correct," I replied. I was trying to be as witty as possible, but I was a little buzzed from the alcohol so I wasn't sure how it was working out. "What brings you to London?" he asked. "I'm here with the Honor's program at my college, I got invited to come here on a twenty-day excursion. I couldn't pass it up," I said. "Honor's program, eh?" he said. He then ordered himself a drink.  "So you're, like, really smart, right?" he asked. I couldn't help but giggle. "I mean, I wouldn't say I'm really smart. Maybe a little above average," I replied. I didn't want to sound to cocky. "Ahh, I see. So, Lex, what will you be studying in college?" he asked. I was amazed at how much he wanted to know about me. I felt kind of, special. "I'm thinking about majoring in bio or biochem, and staying on the pre-med track," I said. "You must be a genius. So you want to be a doctor?" he asked. I took another sip of my drink. I didn't even know what the fuck I had ordered, but it was pretty strong. "That's the plan," I said. We continued to have casual conversation for a few more minutes. I kept checking my phone to see if I had gotten a response from Shannon; but there was none. Bitch. Harry must've noticed how frequently I was checking my phone. "I'm sorry your friend hasn't arrived yet," he said. "No, no don't be. It's fine, really," I replied. Actually, I was kind of glad she hadn't showed up.
