Halfway done, writers! Keep pushing through. Personally, I’m usually halfway behind at this point because I’m a terrible procrastinator. Then I look at the date and realise that I need to get my act together. So if you’re in that boat, well, don’t rock it. We need everything steady so we can get back on pace. If you’re in the boat of soon-to-be champions, congrats! You’re ahead on your word count, which is great! And if you’re just trudging along, that’s perfect. Slow and steady wins the race, after all. Keeping up is the best way to succeed.
