  Summer With De Salvos

"Mommy, summer is coming up! What are our plans? Are we also going to bring Lana with us? Gusto ko sana sa beach tayo." 

I just pouted my lips at that. 

Sa totoo lang, wala talaga akong idea kung anong gagawin namin this vacation. Luke is busy with his work at base sa kanya, there is a big project coming up in the company that needs his immediate attention kaya hindi ko alam kung dapat pa ba akong magplano ng out of town when there's a big chance na hindi kami matuloy. 

"Hey mom, I am talking to you." Kean said snapping his fingers in front of me. I decided to be honest with him.

"I really don't know, baby. Dad is busy with his work eh. Di ba nakita mo naman siya, gabi na palaging umuuwi?" Marahan kong sabi sa kanya.

He sighed. Obviously saddened by what I said. 

"I'm quite disappointed, mom. I thought that finally we're going to have a vacation as a family," he said and gave me a big sad face.

Hindi ko mapigilan na mapangiti. I opened my arms and motioned for him to come to me. He did and as soon as he's within my reach, I enveloped him around my arms.

"I'm really sorry, baby. I just don't want to give you false hope. Hindi ko kasi talaga alam kung papayag si daddy. You know him. Since nung makasal na kaming dalawa, he's been working very hard kasi dalawa na kayo ni baby Lana," marahan kong sabi and that is the absolute truth. 

After our wedding, Luke has been focusing on his work. Though, he makes sure naman na lagi pa rin siyang may time sa'min, lalo na sa'kin nung panahon na pinagbubuntis ko ang pangalawa namin. Ilang beses ko na nga siyang sinabihan na maghinay-hinay pero hindi niya ako pinapakinggan. 

All he's just telling me is he needs to work really hard to give us a good life. Especially na sa darating na pasukan ay mag-aaral na si Kean.

"I'm home." Hindi pa man nakakapasok si Luke sa bahay sinalubong na siya ni Kean and gave him a kiss.

 Napangiti na lang ako at the sight of them. After ng moment nila mag ama, Luke darted his attention to me and walked towards me to give me a kiss. 

"Hey, pretty face." He said afterwards at humalik naman sa noo ng bunso namin na natutulog sa crib.

"You look tired. Paghahainan na kita." I said. 

Tatayo na sana ako pero pinigilan niya ako.

"Iba gusto ko kainin eh." He said pervertly and even looked at my breasts. Nanlaki ang mga mata ko at tinampal nang mahina ang braso niya.

"Damn you, nandyan ang anak mo!" I hissed at him but to piss me more, bumelat pa siya sa'kin.

"Nah mommy, I am really tired. I'll go straight to bed, can I? This day is just too much. Kaliwa't kanang meetings at proposal ang inasikaso ko kanina," seryosong sabi niya.

I nodded then kissed him on the lips. 

"Rest well then. Susunod na lang ako sa'yo pagtapos kong patulugin tong mga bata." I said to him.

He smiled sweetly and before ascending to the stairs nakipagkulitan muna siya sandali kay Kean. After I made sure na tulog na si Kean, binuhat ko na si Lana then we went to our bedroom.

 Pagbukas ko ng pintuan my husband's sleeping figure welcomed me. Napabuntong hininga ako. It's evident that he's really tired dahil hindi man lang siya nakapagbihis. Niluwagan niya lang ang necktie niya at pagtapos nag collapse na sa kama.
