Chapter 3

All Your Hate

Black Veil Brides

I felt my face heat up when I realized Ryan was laying next to me, wide awake. What was I thinking when I asked him to stay with me?! Now he probably thinks we're on good terms now.

Not if I had anything to do with it.

"Good you're awake. Are you feeling ok?" He whispered, pulling me in closer towards his chest as if he really cared.

I tried pulling out of his grasp, but it was no use. He wasn't letting me go. "I'm fine. Now let me go!" I grumbled. I do not want him touching me. It made me feel-no. I will not even think it.

"Kiss me and I'll let you go." Ryan smirked.

My eyes squinted as thoughts of him saying that to some other girl ran through my head. Why am I even thinking about that! I shouldn't care. "Fuck you." I tried pushing against his chest, yet nothing happened. It was as if pushing against a brick wall!

"That's no way to speak to me. You know if you accepted this, you would be begging to stay in my arms."

Anger flared through me. What the fuck did he just say to me? "Let me go. I don't want you touching me." I said calmly. The calm before the storm.

"And what if I don't?" Ryan smirked. I could see in his eyes, he was getting a kick out of this. It pissed me off all the more.

"I will make you wish you did." I replied. A smirk of my own on my face. Since he wanted to have his chest on display, I could easily get his nipple between my teeth and bite down...hard. Or better yet, I'd much rather bite something else.

Instantly Ryan let me go. I don't think he liked the thoughts that were running through my head. "You know, you wouldn't be having those thoughts if we finished this. The only reason you're so uptight and angry is because-"

"I know! You don't need to remind me." I growled as I flung the blankets off and made my way to the bathroom.

I tuned out his thoughts as I turned on the shower. I don't want to know what he's thinking. I want this all to be a dream. This isn't really happening. Yeah right. If only it'd be that easy.

"Scarlett. Can you come out here? We need to talk about some things." Ryan called through the bathroom door just as I shut off the water.

"Talk." I said as I started getting ready for the day.

"I want to look at you as I'm saying it." Ryan said, just loud enough for me to hear.

I scrubbed the towel through my hair to help the drying process and ran my brush through my hair. Probably with more force than necessary. I flung the door open and squeezed my way past Ryan, making my way downstairs to the kitchen. "You can talk while I eat." I didn't bother turning around, knowing he was behind me.

He didn't bother saying anything to me, so I took it to myself to speak first. "While you're standing there doing nothing, why don't you start a pot of coffee."

Without even thinking he made his way to the coffee pot and got it started. It looked as if he was deep in his own thoughts. The only thing I heard him say was 'even sexier when she's angry' before I tuned him out. "Do you mind. What do you want? I have things to do today."

"Yeah? What are your plans?"

"What does it matter to you? I'm going to be minding my own business." I said as I flipped the pancake that was starting to bubble on top.

"You know something isn't right with our bond don't you? I shouldn't be able to hear what you're thinking as you shouldn't be able to hear what's going on in my head." Ryan said quickly.
