I opened my eyes to find Colby gone again. Seriously, why does he just keep vanishing? It was starting to irritate me. I sat up in my bed and stretched while letting out a yawn. I swung one foot off the bed then the other. My hair was falling in my face so I sat there and pulled it back up into a ponytail. I finally got up and walked downstairs. I searched for Colby everywhere, but he was nowhere to be found. What the fuck? Where did he go? I looked out the front window. His car was gone too. I went back up to my room and searched for a note or something he may have left letting me know why he left, or where he went. Nothing. I sighed. My stomach rumbled and I knew there wasn't much in the house to eat, so I got dressed and made up my mind to go to a small cafe on the corner of my street. Before I left the house I grabbed my phone and Mom's credit card. I really wasn't in the mood to ask my neighbors to borrow their car plus it was still kind of early. I'll just walk. I need the exercise anyway. I thought to myself.

When I got to the cafe I sat down at a table in the corner. Soon enough a waitress handed me a menu. She asked what I wanted to drink and I told her a latte' would be fine. She wrote it down on her little notepad and flashed me a little smile and walked away. I looked over and the menu. I realized I wasn't that hungry after all. When the waitress returned to take my order I told her that the coffee would be all. As I sat there sipping my coffee I thought I should try to call Colby. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and rang his number. It rang and rang before going to voicemail. I sighed and hung up. So now he's not answering my calls either. Wonderful. Just fucking wonderful. We had only been "together" for two days and things were already getting complicated. I suddenly had a bad feeling in my gut. I called Colby again. This time it went straight to voicemail. I was getting pissed now. I called back ready to leave a message this time when I heard the bells of the cafe door jingle. I looked up and seen Colby walking through the door. I started to stand but froze in my seat. My mouth dropped open, my heart stopped, and my mind jumped to the worst possible conclusions. In walked Colby holding the hand of a bleach blonde tramp. Boobs hanging out of her shirt and everything.

I just sat there for awhile with my hand over my mouth in disbelief. I watched them pick a table and sit down. They held hands across the table and talked before ordering. I sat there dumbfounded. I had no idea what to do. I was upset, hurt, curious, pissed, confused, and most of all shocked. I finally got up and left after paying for my coffee. He didn't even see me. What a bastard. How could he? On the way back to my house I started crying. I was in such a hurry to just get back home that I wasn't even paying attention to where I was going and I ran in to Samantha. Samantha was a my ex best friend. We stopped talking when I met Colby.

"Geez watch where your going. Would ya?" She spat.

"I'm sorry" I said sobbing and walking off.

Sam spun me around and took my face in her hand. She lifted up my chin and saw the tears streaming down my cheeks. "My god. What happened?"

"It's.. it's nothing." Sam shot me a look of nonbelief. "It's a long story."

"Okay. Well, how about we walk to your house and you tell me? I've got plenty of time."

"Umm okay." I said happy to have someone to talk to about this. I couldn't believe she was being so understanding.

When we got to my place Sam sat on the couch while I went and got a tub of ice cream and spoons. While we ate I told her all about the past few days and this morning. At about noon mom called and said that her work called and they needed her to come in. I said that was fine and told her I'd see her later. Sam and I spent the rest of the night gossiping and catching up. Sam had managed to cheer me up, she even had me laughing. I was glad I had ran into her.

At 7:15 my phone rang. It was Colby. I looked at Sam. She nodded at me and I answered.

"Hello" I said dryly.

"Hey baby! Whatya up to?" He said cheerfully like nothing happened. I put the phone on speaker so Sam could hear too.

"Are you really going to pretend nothing happened?" I said trying to keep from raising my voice.

"I don't know what you mean babe." He said playing dumb.

"You know what why don't you cut the shit and tell me why you were with that tramp this morning!" I said no longer playing nice. I was done being upset. Now I was pissed. I waited for an answer. Nothing. Just silence. "Colby, I was at the cafe this morning when you walked in with that blonde bembo" I spat.

"Babe that wasn't what it looked like" he said stumbling over his words.

"Not what it looks like my ass. Why don't you cut the 'babe' shit and tell me what you were doing at the cafe with her"

"Okay. Just calm down. I..."

"Oh hell no! Did you just tell me to calm down? Don't tell me to calm down! You know what I don't care what you were doing with her. I'm done. I knew this was a mistake." I yelled cutting him off

I hung up and turned my phone off. I began to cry again and Sam brought me some tissues.

"Are you okay?" She said worried.

"I will be." I said drying my tears.
