Mitch was nervous and excited. It was the day that Akira would be arriving and Mitch was at the airport with a sign, waiting to pick him up. He had earphones in, using music to keep him calm as he waited for his favorite jet to arrive. He hummed along to a J-Pop song as he saw the small figure of his business partner, in the distance, walking up to the top of the escalator. He watched as Akira rode the escalator to the main floor, the Japanese man smiling when he saw him there. Akira got off the escalator and zoomed over to Mitch once he picked up his bags.

"Hey, Buddy!" Mitch smiled, welcoming him with a hug so big, it puts every big thing in Texas to shame. "How does it feel to be on American soil?"

"Very strange," Akira admitted with a laugh. "I always dreamed about doing this. I never thought in a million years that I would actually do it."

"Well you did it!" Mitch reassured, "and I will make sure that you don't regret this decision. The first thing I have planned for you, is business but it's one thing, then we'll celebrate."

"Sounds like a plan," Akira smiled, the two of them walking out to the car, Mitch helping Akira stuffing his bags in the backseat before they were on the road. "So this is where you grew up?"

"Yep," Mitch nodded, still keeping his eyes on the road. "This is the good ol' hometown. I know these streets better than I know myself."

"It seems like such a beautiful place," Akira beamed, his cheeks red with joy. "I can't wait to find a home in this place. I have always felt so out of place in Tokyo. It's too loud there."

"It can get loud here too," Mitch argued with a laugh, "but that depends on who you meet. When I'm involved, it's always loud."

"It's different, though," Akira explained. "There's a difference between the noise of the city and the noise of drama and people. I love meeting people and hearing their stories; that noise is great. The rustle and bustle of the city is just too much for me."

"Well I'm happy I can get you from that rustle and bustle, then," Mitch smiled, driving to the strip where he hoped to start his business. "Now there's three storefronts here where we can take our business. This is the best place for best profit. This is literally the same strip on campus where the chipotle, starbucks, and discount school book shop is. There's constantly people around here."

"Well that's great," Akira bounced, Mitch parking before they got out and met up with Macy, who came back just to help them get the best price.

"I have been working," Macy sighed as they walked up to her. "You are so damn lucky I adore both of you. Mitch, the one you fell in love with, I managed to get it to 75% off with a bit of a higher share, and it's extremely worth it. The other two just wouldn't budge. If I were you, I'd just go with the one you wanted. The other two are owned by legitimate dickheads."

"Is that okay with you, Akira?" Mitch asked, his partner nodding with a huge smile as Macy made the arrangements. "I have the cash on me if they okay with a total payout."

"Yeah it'll decrease the process time to only a week," Macy explained. "That is their words, not mine. I will personally deliver the money, so you guys don't have to worry. You guys deserve to go out and celebrate, the two of you."

"I'll call and invite Scott, Kirstie, Mari, and Ally," Mitch bounced, "if that's okay with you. I would love for you to meet them."

"That sounds okay," Akira agreed with a huge grin, "as long as you dress as Sayori for me."

"School or out of school?" Mitch questioned, exited to try out his new wig and contacts.

"Maybe a bit of both?" Akira suggested with a blush.

"You'd think you were straight by how much you talk about her," Mitch teased.

"She is fictional, Mitch!" Akira whined, making the other man laugh. "Besides, I only fell in love with her when I saw a gorgeous Texan man dress as her for photoshoot, all because it's what kept a little girl calm."

"Well let's get you to your new home," Mitch finalized. "If you want me to Sayori up, we have to get home so I can find everything while making calls."

Akira said nothin more; just smiled as he followed Mitch back to the car. They both excitedly got in the car and Mitch pulled off yet again, and they were soon to the house both of them would be living in. He showed Akira to his apartment before running to the top floor. He found the anime eyes tank, pink shorts, string choker, blazer, and wig/contacts set, and took them to his vanity where he sat down, making his first call of two.

"Hello?"
"Hey, Ally."
"Oh hi, Mitch. What do you need?"
"Akira made it here safely, and I want to celebrate. I am inviting you and Mariela. I understand if she's too tired to make it, but we're going to the bowling alley if y'all two coming along. It's a no drinking allowed party by his request. He really wants to meet you."
"Hey, Mari! Would you be up to a bowling party? Akira wants to meet you."
"I have to find a babysitter!"
"Bring Alex with you. When you're bowling there'll be plenty people to watch him. We'll take turns."
"I'll get dressed then."
"Well I guess we'll see you there."
"Okay. By, Ally."
"By, Mitchie."

"Hello?"
"Hey, Kitty. I'm doing a housewarming bowling party for Akira and I wanted to invite you. We have huge news once you get there... If you come."
"I will be there, but I am bringing Barrett with me. I think she'd love to meet THE Akira Hashimoto."
"She knows who Akira is?"
"She is a photography major, and met him when she went on a class trip to Japan. She became his number one fan."
"Well then of course bring her along but don't tell her Akira will be there."
"I won't. I'll see you there."
"Bye, Kitty."
"Bye, Mitch."

"Hello...?"
"Umm hey, it's Mitch. Sorry if I woke you."
"You didn't, so don't worry about it."
"You sound post coitus."
"I am."
"Well congrats on getting lucky."
"What do you need?"
"Akira arrived today and I wanted to give him the good ol bowling alley welcome. I called to invite you and Thomas."
"I thought you were gonna stop talking to me after..."
"After what? In my eyes it never happened. You just need to drop it and forget it ever happened, because we both know there was nothing there anymore."
"Yeah... Nothing there... I... Thomas and I will be there."
"Cool. Bye."
"Bye..."

Mitch threw his phone on his bed, frustration filling his body as he slowly put on each item one at a time. He put them on in his normal order before sitting at the vanity. He fixed his wig to be right, put in his contacts, and did his makeup to be a bit more... pale. When he knew he was ready, he checked himself in the mirror and added some finishing touches. He called in to double check his party was ready, double checked the presents he got for Akira were ready, and double checked his gifts for Mariela and her family were ready. When he was done, he grabbed his go to Balenciaga backpack and walked out the door, bumping into Akira.

Akira was looking cute as ever, aside from his bowtie and blond hair. He had on some nice dress pants and a white blouse under his favorite anime inspired black jacket. His shoes were the black dress shoes that Mitch had bought him for his sister's wedding, and he had on a dark grey beanie and so black aviator glasses. He looked sexy as hell, and Mitch couldn't help but look the Japanese up and down as he walked up to him.

"Are you ready to go, Sayori?" Akira asked with a huge smile on his face.

"Yes, Watashi no ai!" Mitch teased, though both of them seemed to feel something in those words. "I... ummm... let's go."

"Okay..." Akira mumbled nervously, the two of them going to the car, making the few stops before heading to the bowling alley.
