Mish Mash of Poems

Scream

Just want to sit here

and scream my head off

shake off all these

Goddamn ghosts

scratching

biting

clawing.

Why do they harass me so

have I not done my pennance

done my hard time

Isn't it time I put down

my tools of hard labour.

I've been In the pit

had the flames lick

my body

I have seen the devil

with his evil sneer

looking at me

drawing me in with

his seductive smile.

please I just want to

scream the night away

scream the hurt away

scream all this pain away.

 

So just let me sit here

and SCREAM....!
