Chapter 19: Thinking about it and getting dumped!

*Maddie's POV*

I can't breathe, staring into those green eyes. He's looking at me and I see hurt, love and betrayal all mixed into one. Some girls are murmuring and wondering why in the world is he not singing while the other guys are trying their best to distract the crowd by singing but it isn't working that well. Looking at him I forgot how angry I was at him, I also forgot how in love I was.  I grab Peter's hand and stare up at him,

"We have to go like right now." I say and he raises his eyebrow at me but before her can say anything I grab his wrist and I'm meandering my way around the people to get to the exit. I know Harry's eyes are on me but I don't look up once, why should I? When the cold wind from outside hits me in the face I finally breathe and I look up at Peter and he's just staring down at me strangly,

"Are you okay?" He asks as he starts rubbing my back and I shake my head. I want to tell him but it's hard to come out and say, "Yeah I forgot to tell you my ex-boyfriend is in a platinum selling band he's here right now and I'm in love with him." Who would say that? I nod my head and stand up straight,

"I'm fine, I just was kind of getting tired of staying in there." I lied and I knew he saw right through my lie because he raised his eyebrows at me and said,

"We were in there fifteen minutes." I shrugged and that's when I heard the door behind me open. It was Harry and... his girlfriend. She was holding his hand while Harry looked like he was trying to get away from her, I looked at Peter. Some really ugly stuff was about to go down that I did not want him to see. Peter looked at Harry,

"Aren't you supposed to be performing?" He asked and Harry nodded then looked at me and we kind of just stood there staring at each other until his girlfriend and her annoying voice said,

"What are you doing here!" I snapped out of my trance and looked at her. Curly brown hair like mine, brown eyes and a really stuck-up look to her. I used to think she was nice when she did the guys hair, I was badly mistaken.

"I go to school here." I said slowly, shifting my eyes from Harry to Peter.

"You guys know each other?" Peter asked looking from me, to Harry, to Kathy.

"Sorta. Kinda." Harry muttered and I looked at Peter,

"Lets leave. We could go to the park." I said and I heard Kathy snort,

"Harry, let's go. We all know she's a flake." I stopped in my tracks and turned around to face Kathy. I stared at her,

"Who do you think you are? Wow, you're dating Harry now and you think you're special, I wouldn't feel special if I were you." I replied and she stepped up,

"And why is that?" She asked and I chuckled bitterly,

"Because he loves me." I replied, I said it before I knew what I was saying. I turned and looked at Peter who looked so confused it was sad.

"What the heck is going on!" He asked and Harry stepped up in front of Maddie,

"Maddeline, we need to talk." He said to me and I shook my head angrily, he looked hurt. Probably because of Peter and yeah I felt bad but I couldn't just leave because Harry was here,

"Please, Maddie, please." He begged and I looked up at his pleading green eyes and I looked at Peter, who was just standing there with a blank expression.

"I'll be back." I said and he didn't move. I sighed and grabbed Harry's hands and led him away from both Kathy and Peter,

"You kiss her Harry and we're through!" I heard Kathy's shrill voice yell. I wanted to sock her right in her face but I kept my cool. When we were a safe difference he looked down at me and before he said anything he hugged me. He just enveloped me in a hug, pulling me close and I closed my eyes and hugged him back. I missed him, he was so soft and he smelled so nice. I still had to be strong, I still had to remember he hurt me. We stayed like that for a long time and I didn't want to let go but I had to so I pulled away and looked up at him,
