Chapter 9: Turn To Zayn

Harry's Pov:

"You happy Simon! You fucking happy! It's a miracle if Maddie doesn't see this!" I yelled into Simon's face, he didn't flinch once. He looked quite pleased actually. I groaned outwardly and wanted to punch the man in the face. I liked and highly respected Simon but him making me break up with my girlfriend on live television was kind of messed up.

"Settle down, Harry." He said slowly and with such force in his voice I stopped sputtering and shaking. Louis put his hand on my left shoulder and Zayn on my left.

"Simon, no offense but don't you think that was a little much?" Liam asked him softly. Simon's face flickered over to Liam and shook his head,

"No. Not at all. Look, this is why I don't like it when you guys get involved with girls. Louis and Liam and Niall can handle it because they're mature but you Harry, nope. You're the type of guy to get a girl pregnant while in love with another." Simon said so matter-of-factly I wanted to hit him in the face.

"She's not even pregnant!" I cried out angrily and Simon raised his eyebrow skeptically,

"Oh really? Have you been to the hospital yet, has this been confirmed?" Simon asked and I sighed than swallowed,

"No but I know Natalie. I know who we're dealing with Simon, she isn't pregnant she just wants to ruin me." I tried to explain and he nodded,

"No, I think you did that for yourself Harry." He said then turned around and walked out. I stood there, backstage my friends around me with a million thoughts running through my head.

When we got to the hotel fans and papparazzi swarmed me. I heard things like, "Can you get me pregnant to Harry?" or, "Harry why would you do that to Maddie you dick!" and the usual, "I want you

Harry!"

We were quickly ushered into the hotel and my blood was boiling I turned to the boys and Kye,

"How am I going to explain this to Maddie?" I asked them and all the boys looked at each other. Simon had told us not to utter a word about the little arragment so Maddie could leave but lying wasn't really down my alley of things to do to Maddie.

"Just tell her you think you guys need a break. Make sure you tell her you still love her." Kye recommended. I turned to her and smiled,

"Thanks Kye but Maddie already thinks I'm full of shit and I need to make sure Natalie is not pregnant. How do I get this done by the end of the day and have a concert?" I asked her and she shrugged sadly so I said quickly,

"But it was a great idea!" She smiled and leaned in closer to Niall, I wanted to roll my eyes. I really didn't need to see this when I was freaking out about Maddie.

"Come on Harry, you got to talk to her." Niall said and I scanned the faces of all my friends quickly and I nodded,

"You guys are right."

*Maddie's POV*

"We're here!" The bright voice of Louis echoed through my thoughts. I jumped and dropped the scirrors and the picture of Harry and I on the floor. I daintly pushed open the door and walked to the vast hotel living room where everybody was now. Everyone was standing behind Harry awkwardly and looking at us. I raised my eyebrow and cleared my throat then looked at Harry,

"So, we're over?" I asked swallowing the huge lump in my throat. I had to give myself props, I would either be screaming or crying right now but surprisingly I was really calm. Even though I wanted to gouge Harry's eyes out with a fork, I was resisting the urge.

"We uh need to really talk." He said stepping closer and I stepped back. I was also determined to hear his awesome explanation even though he sort of said it loud and clear to the whole world,

"Talk then." I retorted icely. He nodded and turned to his friends behind him, they all dissapeared out the hotel room and I rolled my eyes.

"Uh can we sit down?" He asked and I chuckled bitterly,

"Please do not try and be a gentleman now. I think your gentelman card expired as soon as you cheated on me with that slutty tramp." I hissed and he nodded. He bit his lip and exhaled,

"I just think that we were going through some really tough times and maybe we needed a uh break." The way he said it made it sound like he wasn't sure. And what in the world was he talking about? We had been through so many things! We had overcome it, why was he suddenly giving up? I cleared my throat,

"Well, why do it on national tv?" I asked him and he shrugged, giving me a half grin,

"I'm a douche." He replied and I nodded,

"Glad to know we're on the same page." I replied and he eyed me,

"So, now what?" He asked me and I shrugged.

"You go on tour, I go home." I replied and his mouth dropped slightly and I rolled my eyes, why was he so shocked? Did he think I was going to stay there and stay with him. I decided I'd talk to Zayn about it first so I pushed past Harry and walked out of the room.

I knocked on Zayn's hotel room and I heard small feet, probably Kye's. I was right. She opened the door and smiled at me and I smiled back at the pretty girl,

"Can I come in?" I asked and she nodded.

"So, what's with you and Harry?" She asked reluctantly and I turned to her and smiled slightly trying not to yell at her to mind her own business,

"As he said, we're over." I replied and she nodded sadly then cleared her throat,

"Are you hear to see Zayn?" She asked and I nodded. She pointed to his room and I smiled,

"Thanks." I walked to the door and knocked on it.

"Coming!" Zayn's perfect British voice cried out. I smiled and shivered with excitement. I had been talking about it and thinking about what Zayn said and he was right, I did need to start trying to love someone else and even though I wasn't close to getting over Harry what better way to try then with a beautiful boy like Zayn. He opened the door and when he saw me he smiled,

"Hey, what's up?" He asked me and I shrugged,

"We need to talk." I gave him a sad look and he quickly pulled me into a tight hug, I just wanted to stay there forever.
