32 - Christmas - Day 7 of 8

On this day, the reading of John's Gospel (1 John 2:18-21) is scary, full of warning. Trouble is coming, and trouble has already come. But it is reassuring too. You know. You know. You know, and you are blessed.

Freddie Mercury is very close to this message in the song above.

The joy of the Christmas message is still resounding and rebounding too: the Christ child has come to save us all, thank heaven.

Psalm 95, 1-11

Oh come, let us sing to the Lord;

make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!

Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving;

make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!

For the Lord is a great God,

and a great King above all gods.

Leap like the deer tonight, and jump into love! Be happy and grateful and merry.

And make a wish. Whisper a prayer. And find a resolution.

Leap into love.

The little reindeer follows a star home.

A new year, a new life.
