******************************************Hayden's POV*******************************************

It's been a little over a month now and Emmet has shown no signs of waking up yet. I have barely eaten. I rarely leave the room acutually. Just enough so that I can shower and change clothes before moving right back by her side. At night I lay by her holding her in my arms. The doctor is beyond confused because everything in her body is perfectly healthy. The drugs are out of her system; she's functioning properly. We don't know why she won't wake up.

"Come on baby. You need to wake up. I need to hear your laugh again. See that beautiful smile, hear your melodic voice. I can't live without you. I need to see your amazing blue eyes. Please. I love you," I whisper nuzzling my face into the crook of her neck as silent tears escape my eyes.

"I'm sorry Hayden. I wish there was more I could do but I'm stumped. I have no clue why she isn't waking up. I've used every spell I can think of. It's like she is keeping herself in the coma," Lizzie says before walking out of the room. I sigh as more tears fall from my eyes. Draco and Kade both are whining for their mate to wake up. I wish I could help them. We all need our mate, but there's nothing to do.

***************************************Emmet's POV***********************************************

I groan and roll over on the soft grass. This is getting annoying. Why can't I just wake up already. Smokey and Midnight are both angered and annoyed.

*Dammit wake up already! I want Kade* Smokey hisses at me.

"And you think I don't want Hayden!? I can't wait until I can get out of this damn coma. I've tried everything but nothing works. You heard the doctor; my body is completley healed.

*Well do something!* Midnight growls yelling at me in my head.

"What do you want me to do?! Dress in drag and do the hula," I ask sarcastically quoting The Lion King.

*Clever* Smokey says rolling her eyes. I stick my tongue out before flopping back down on the ground. After about 10 minutes of peace, I hear someone walking softly through the meadow. I jump up facing the person in the meadow. And when i do, my heart stops.

"Mom,"  I choke out. She smiles softly and nods. I run to her giving her a tight hug. She hugs me back gently.

"Hello my dear. I can't stay long but I have come here to tell you. You are the reason you can't go back. You must let go. Goodbye. And remember I will always be in your heart," she whispers pointing to her heart before dissappearing into thin air. Well that was weird. What does she mean by let go?

"I am what she means," a light female voice calls out. I turn around and come face to face with a beautiful girl. She is tall, around 5'9, and has long flowly dark brown hair. Her skin is a light tan color while her eyes are dark brown. She is beautiful but I'm confused. I have never seen her before.

   "Who are you," I ask.

"I'm a prisoner of your mind."

   "What does that mean?"

"You have to let go," she says smiling softly

"Let go of what," I ask confused.

"Me. Release me so I can go back."

   "How do I do that?"

"That is for you to figure out," she whispers before walking away from the meadow. I take a deep breath and close my eyes while relaxing my muscles. I have to let go. That shouldn't be hard. I reach deep inside my mind searching for the mystery person. That's when I feel it. The prisoner trapped behind the bars in my mind. I do NOT know why she is there but she is. I reach in deep and pry open the bars to the cage releasing her. The wind picks up around me and she suddenly appears in front of me once more.

"Thank you," she says as tears fill her eyes.

"Who are you," I ask once again.

"I am the wolf of Evangelic. We forgive you," she says brightly. A man appears beside her and grabs her hand. She takes it and hugs him tightly. This must be her mate. He has long dark brown hair, tan skin, and dark brown eyes. He is taller than her by about 7 inches. He then turns to me and smiled brightly.

"He says thank you. We both do," she says before they both disappear still in their embrace. And that's when what she said hit me. She was Evangelic's wolf. Oh my gosh. I crash to the ground in tears.

********************************************Hayden's POV****************************************

I wake up when I hear a movement in the room. I protectivly lean over Emmet keeping her from any harm as my eyes scan the room.

"You didn't think that you could get rid of me that easily did you?" My eyes widen in shock as I turn to face the person who spoke.

Ok so this one is still short but I feel a bit better about this chapter.

A few questions for you to ponder and leave comments about below.

Who is Evanelic? And how is she connected to Emmet?

Why was Evangelic's wolf trapped in Emmet's mind?

Who said the last sentence to Hayden? Why is he in shock?

Think about it and tell me what you think
