Amalia

It's been a year since I have gone on any kind of adventure.... a year since I've even seen my friends. A month after I came back, everything went to 'normal'. I went back trying to find a worthy suitor. Unsurprisingly, no one reached my expectations.

There were tough ones, smart ones, and sweet ones, but I could tell none were going to put their life on the line for the kingdom. I had no one to accompany or help me since Armand was always tough to get along with.  My father, meanwhile, had gone to another kingdom and would be back in two months... but that's such a long time away from now. Armand and I had been sharing taking care of the kingdom in his absence, though my brother took it upon himself to leave me to finding a suitor....which made things boring...

 Not even my closest friends could see me. Eva and Tristepin were busy with their new kid. I had recently visited them for Alree's first birthday. Ruel was off digging up some gold mine he found with Junior. Even Yugo was busy watching over his new kingdom. Adamaï told me he hasn't been doing well, which worried me. Yugo's been doing great as a leader, but he hasn't been taking care of himself much. However... he is always there for his kingdom.

  "Amalia!!" The yell of one of my dressers cuts through my thoughts like a knife. "You've got another one!!!" He yelled again, making me focus. 

"Not now!" I yelled back, distracted by the want to see my friends again. I hated the thought of wasting my time to find a suitor. It felt so... trivial. My thoughts eventually went back to Yugo.

Lately, I've been thinking about him... well, a lot. I feel guilty for kissing Oropo and almost leaving him behind. When Yugo kissed me, I felt like I could travel a thousand universes- but just after, he told me that we could never be together.

I've known about the growth problem that stems from his semi-immortality, but I didn't care. I loved him...

"Amalia!!" You've got a visitor!" Yelled my dresser once more. I walked out of the room, a bit annoyed. Who could possibly be wanting to bother me now? I then promptly tripped over a vine only to land into someone's arms.
