Hey everyone! So this part of the book is going to be introducing the basics of English. I will only start with greetings just so you can know how to at least say something in English and then I will move on in the next part to numbers, alphabet, colors, etc.

Alright so in English when someone comes up to you or if you see someone in the hallway or something like that feel free to greet them by saying:
Hello (this is a common way to greet someone in a friendly manner)

The next thing that people will say in a greeting is a phrase that focusing on the person and if they are having a good day or bad day.

You say: How are you? (This is asking how the person is doing its basically the same in every language to say something similar to how are you but of course in the way each language says it)

When you get asked this question you should most likely respond just as you would in your native language and in order to do that you say:

I am good
I am fine
I am bad

Usually people also say this

I am doing good
I am doing fine
I am doing bad

This may not make sense in your native language, but the "doing" part of the response is just another thing we say. I know it does not add any significance to the response, but it is better to know this response in this form just in case someone responds like that.

Usually after someone asks you how your doing you can ask them how they are doing by saying this:

And how are you doing?

This is commonly used.

In order to leave a conversation you can say:

Bye or I have to go

Thats all I am going to do for right now. This is my first book so it is probably not the best, but just leave comments and I will try to improve for the next part of this book. See ya guys!! Peace out
