I walk a fine line,
Between the right and the real,
They watch me closely but talk is cheap here,
Like a weightless
currency.

Elizabeth watched as her sister's mouth hit the floor. Her eyes grew wide, but Elizabeth couldn't read the emotions inside them. She began to feel a bit of hope..maybe she would sympathise with her? But just then, her sister's eyes blackened and she stormed into the kitchen, angrily banging down cups and plates. Elizabeth walked slowly after her. Libby didn't say anything at first, and Elizabeth didn't try to break the silence. After about five minutes, Libby threw the dish cloth down and turned round to face her, glaring menacingly.

"How the f**k did you do this, Lizz? What the hell is wrong with you?" Libby shouted. "You STUPID idiot."

"Shhh, Dad or Hannah will hear." Elizabeth replied. Dad was sitting in the garden, with his part-time carer Hannah. Dad was oblivious, but Hannah was eyeing the open window with apprehension. Libby tugged Elizabeth away from the window and back into the living room, tugging her around to face her.

"I don't give a crap, Lizz. You know before you met Alex you were a good kid. Now look what you've done, got knocked up and your only 18".

"I know but, it's not just Alex's fault-". Elizabeth started to protest.

"No, I know it's not. It's yours as well. But do you know who would be looking after this kiddo when your Alex is sauntering off around the world with his band? YOU, not me." Libby shook her head at Lizz, shame and disappointment in her eyes.

"I know..I know." Lizz said, eyes cast to the floor. Libby saw this sadness and realised she was being too hard on her sister.

"So what are you going to do then? I mean, you need to get rid of this thing before anyone know's about it. I can call the clinic in the morning, get you booked in and then this will all be over. You can forget this ever happened". Libby smiled a little bit, then reached over and engulfed her in a hug. But she realised that Elizabeth wasn't hugging her back, arms lifeless. With a tiny voice, Elizabeth whispered:

"I'm keeping my baby."

Libby's arms went stiff and her smile froze on her face. She leaned back and stared hard into her sister's eyes. Gone were the sadness and guilt, replaced with a fierce stubborness she had never seen before. Libby's mouth opened wide, ready to reply to this, but she found she had no words. Yeah, she was probably making the worst decision in her life. But what could she do? This was her sister's life to live as she wanted to, which included making these choices. She embraced her once again and whispered into her ear:

"Ok. Everythings going to be fine."

ALEX POV

Gosh, he had missed her so bad. He had spent two long, lonely months without her. Well, not exactly lonely. He had been with his band members and met so many amazing fans. Because, without their support, he didn't think he could have gone that long without seeing her face. He longed to cook her breakfast in the morning, to see her laugh, to hold her in his arms and wake up to her beautiful face in the morning. As he had hugged fan after fan, he had wished it was her embracing him, yet each and every bit of support kept the smile on his face. As he stepped out of the airport gates and onto British soil he felt his heart quicken. Steve had given the band a well-deserved week off, until they started touring the bigger but less frequent concerts farer away. Strangely, when he had told Elizabeth she had seemed excited, but almost distant, like she wasn't really looking forward to seeing him. Or..as if she was hiding something from her? As he got into the waiting car, his head full of ideas and none of them good. She wouldn't betray him, would she? His heart clenched with jealousy at the thought of another man gazing into those eyes, seeing her perfect face and body, with the same love-filled passion as he did. He felt a bleep and picked up his Iphone. It was a message from Elizabeth;

Meet me on the hill

Puzzled, he replied ok and snuggled down for the hour-long drive, confused about why she would want to meet there. When the driver finally stopped at the bottom, he bounded up, not caring about his already setting in jet lag. The breeze had picked up and he stared about him, impatiently pushing his hair away from his face. Finally, he saw her and he raced over, taking her in his arms. He reached down and kissed her lovingly, forgetting about everything except the feel of her hands on his neck and his lips against hers. When they finally broke away, she said:

"I think the standard welcome is hello."

He chuckled, reaching down to stroke her cheek.

"Oh baby, I've missed you so bad."

"You too." She replied, face full of emotion. Then she glanced down and began to play with some dirt with her foot. The silence grew awkward.

"Honey, what's up?" Alex burst out, impatiently. "I can tell your hiding something from me..we have never had secrets before. I love you okay? Whatever it is, or whoever,  if that is the case, I can deal with it."

"I'm not seeing anyone." She said, vaguely amused.

"WHAT IS IT THEN?" Alex asked, his impatience getting the better of him.

She seemed to be wrestling with something, before she picked up his hand and pressed it gently against her tummy.

"I'm pregnant Alex. I'm having your baby. Your going to be a Daddy."
