Meghan's POV:
We got out of the taxi and went into the hotel. We decided not to go straight to our room but wander around for a while.
"Hey let's go to the courtyard!" Joey suggested.
"Good idea!"
We raced there. I got a head start and beat him there.
"Dammit!" he said, out of breath.
"What can I say!" I smirked.
"You win this time, Camerena!"
The courtyard was lined with white columns. There was a large reflection pond in the center. Palm trees circled the pond. The only light was coming from torches on the columns.
"I want to live here!" I yelled.
"That would be nice," he agreed.
We plopped down onto the couch. There was a plate of strawberries sitting on the table. Seventeen of them, to be exact.
"Look, Meghan! It's you!" Joey yelled.
"I know right! And look, there's seventeen of them!"
"That's really weird. HAHA!"
