Sarah's POV
We were at the mall shopping for some gifts and stuffs we might want to bring to Paris. Malapit na ang pasko and we're planning to spend our vacation there since nandun naman ans sister ko..
We were just walking when I accidentally took a look on a shirt in one of the boutiques there. I was sure that mommy saw it also because I saw mommy smiling.
"Anak, alam ko iniisip mo. That'l fit him for sure." mom said. I just smiled and went inside the boutique. I tried to look for another shirt but I couldn't find one as good as the first. I only imagined him wearing the first one I saw. I bought the shirt hoping that he would like it.
"Nak, sa perfume boutique lang ako." Mom said.
"Sama na po ako." I told her.
Inaamoy amoy ko lang yung mga perfumes sa loob when mom handed me one bottle.
"Sarah, eto oh." mom said.
"Para kanino po to ?" I asked her.
"That's for Gerald. Bagay yan sa kanya." Mom answered.
"Sigurado po kayo ?" I asked her.
"Bakit ? Ikaw lang ba pwede magregalo kay Gerald ? Mom answered smiling.
"Ma naman eh" I said.
"Hindi anak. Ibig kong sabihin, mahal mo, I mean napamahal na din sakin yung batang yun." she said.
"Sabi niyo po eh" I told her.

"Mamimiss kaya ako ni Gerald ?" I was asking myself while packing my things.
I was about to put my stone in the bag when I heard the doorbell. Ayy Bato !! Nagulat naman ako !! Sino kaya yun ? Wala naman akong inaasahan ngayon ah ? Hmmm. Then I heard mom calling me.
"Sarah ? May naghahanap sayo sa baba." Mom said.
"Haa ? Sino po ? Bakit daw po ?" I said curiously.
"See for yourself" Mom answered smiling. Aba ! Surprise pa gusto ah ;))
I was walking down the stairs when I heard Gerald's voice. I knew it !! Naku ano naman kayang pakana nitong lalaking ito. Lagi na lang ako sinusurprise. Pero sabi ko nga "GUSTO KO YON !" Yieeee :">
Pinakalma ko muna ang sarili ko from kilig tsaka na ko bumaba. I saw everyone nakaupo. Nakapalibot pa. May meeting ata ? Hala anung meron ? Bakit nakapalibot sila ? Umupo ako beside Gerald.
"Bakit ka nandito ?" I asked him and he just smiled at me.
I was shocked that he had gifts for my family. He handed his gift to Gab and nagbilin pa. Naku I felt myself blushing nung mga sandaling yun. Nahiya naman ako when Gerald said that Gab should take care of me :) Kita mo to . Binibilin pa ko sa bata :)
He gave then his gift to mom and dad. I could see that they both appreciated what Gerald did. I was purely happy kasi hindi niya kinakalimutan ang family ko. I could feel he was being sincere. Grabe ! Lord ! Is this a sign ? Naiinlove ako lalo. Pero wait. Kailangan nating pigilan ! This wasn't the right time yet.
Then he gave me a box, a small one. Hala ano to ?! I didn't know if bubuksan ko in front of him or what. Itatago ko na sana when I heard Gerald.
"Open it please ?"
"Ahh. Ok" i said.
When I opened it, I was surprised with what I saw. There was a necklace, a silver necklace, with a heart pendant. Naku. What could be the meaning of this. Natatakot akong tanggapin. I knew Gerald was sincere but I've learned from the past. Natatakot ako.
"Gerald, sigurao ka ba ? Parang di ko ata matatanggap to." I said. I saw his reaction. I knew he was expecting this.
Then he answered me in words I never expected. Maghihintay daw siya. He'll wait until the time na maging handa ako. He'll wait for me.
I was greatly pleased with his pure intentions. I promised that when the time comes na handa na ako, I'll wear the necklace. Na susuotin ko yung kwintas and I knew to myself that, that day would be soon enough.

He had said his goodbyes when I remembered the gifts we bought for him.
"Teka Ge ! Aalis ka agad ? Paano yung gift ko ? Ay mali !! Yung gift namin sayo ? Teka kukuhanin ko lang." I said
I handed him the shirt, the perfume and the wood carving my dad made. I could see that he's happy.
"Salamat salamat salamat !" He thanked me and my family.
"Naku Ge aa. Di yan House and Lot." We both laughed.
Then nagpaalam ako kay mom and dad na ihahatid ko lang si Gerald sa gate.
When we were at the gate, he asked me to call him pag nasa Paris na kami.
Likas atang makulit si Gerald, pinag Promise pa ko.
"Oo na !! Promise." I said.
"Naku pag di mo ko tinawagan." He said.
"Ano ?" I asked him.
"Susunod ako ! Pag di mo ko tinawagan susunod ako !!" he said.
Wee ? tototohanin niya kaya yun ? hmmm. tignan natin
"Ingat ka dun ha ? Tandaan mo, my heart is yours." He said.
Yieeeeee !! Kinilig naman ako dun. OO na ! Your heart :))
