Kats POV
The doctor came back in 5 minutes flat. I had barley fell back asleep when she was tightening the strap around my arm and brandishing a needle. Joy of joys. Honest. When she had decided that my veins where good and plumped she jammed the needle in, this thing was huge! I honestly thought it was going to come out the other side! She pulled the plunger towards her, taking the smallest amount of blood she could.
"Why are you only taking this much?" I asked, stunned. She flipped her hair over her shoulder and smiled with her baby pink lips.
"This is all you need for a blood test, then if it is suitable to give Amelia, then we will come back and take more." Great, I thought, more bloody needles. I laughed out loud at my pathetic joke.
"Something funny?" the doctor asked laughing along "I don't get many patients that laugh during a blood test.
"Bloody needles!" I stuttered out through hysterical giggles.
The doctor smiled and muttered something about 'giving you something for the pain, Katerina' then i felt another needle, lower in my arm, and the room was engulfed in blackness.
