"Mom, I'm going." Pagkababa ni Monica ng hagdan ay dumiretso siya sa kusina kung saan naroon at kumakain ng agahan ang magulang.
"Hindi ka man lang ba kakain anak?" Wika ni Cecilia.
"Sa flower shop na ako kakain. I already called Letty to order a coffee."
"Sa pagiging busy mo sa trabaho ay dapat kumain ka ng agahan anak. Bihira na nga lang tayong magkasabay sa hapunan eh."
"Your Mom's right hija," sabat ng ama sa usapan sabay lapag sa diyaryong binabasa. "Instead of having a coffee in your office, you can take your coffee here, with us."
"Huwag na po kayong magtampo," aniya at isa-isang hinalikan sa sentido ang magulang. "I promise, I'll join the breakfast tomorrow."
"Aasahan namin iyan." ani Cecilia.
"Siya nga po pala, sa labas po ako kakain mamaya. Nagyaya kasi si Joan kumain. She's going to Australia and her flight will be on the next day. We'll be having girls night out with Meg and Lyn. But again, I promise na sabay tayong mag-almusal bukas."
Pagkasabing iyon ni Monica ay tumunog ang doorbell.
"Ako na ang magbubukas." aniya.
Kinuha niya ang bag na nakapatong sa isa sa mga silya at tumungo sa pintuan upang pagbuksan ito.
"Good morning baby." Wesly's handsome face lighted up on her eyes.
"Go-od mor-ning." She uttered without looking away from his face. All of a sudden his lips captured her attention. She's looking at them as he slowly bit his lower lip. Then a sexy smile painted on his mouth.
"You can kiss me if you want to."
"I'm sorry." Bigla siyang nahiya matapos niyang marinig ang sinabing iyon ni Wesly. She quickly felt her forehead with her palm and pretended she's still sleepy. "I'm sorry. Inaantok pa lang talaga siguro ako."
He held her chin and lifted her face up to meet his. "Hope this will make you fully awake." He gave her a kiss that lasted for seconds. It was short yet passionate kiss.
And yes, it made her fully awake and she wished he could give her more.
"Are you awake now, Sleeping Beauty?"
She blinked twice. "Why are you here by the way." She ignored his question.
"I'm here to fetch you. And don't say I can't because I'm doing this from now on."
"I have a car and I can go to my flower shop by myself."
"I know but I already decided so you can no longer do anything."
"Are you serious? You know you're not oblige to do this. I don't want you to..."
"Wesly, hijo narito ka pala. Ba't hindi ka man lang pinapasok nitong anak ko. Have you already taken your breakfast? Come on, get inside."
Bumati si Wesly at nagsimulang pumasok sa loob ng bahay. "Hindi pa nga po eh! I was in a hurry earlier baka kasi hindi ko na maabutan ang anak niyo."
