Ardelle Ruby Potter was not quiet.
Not in a bad way.
She wasn't quiet—but just because she was quiet didn't mean that she hated books, or that she hated studying.
In fact, most people would agree that she was quite patient and kind.
But even though she wasn't quiet, she liked to think of her existence as quieter and calmer compared to her brother or his friends.
And because she was patient and because she was kind and calmer—she was rarely angry, and she rarely yelled or raised her voice.
But, when she did yell, people listened.
