Jaye - Chapter 7 - THE WORLD CUP IS FINALLY HERE!

"Jaye, watch out!" I heard Rye-muffin yell. I turned around to see a blast of green light heading my way and it was too late to dodge. So  I did the only thing I could think of: I closed my eyes and imagined myself being in Jasmine's house.

"Jaye, are you okay?" I sighed in relief hearing Jasmine's voice.

"Yeah, I almost got hit by the Killing Curse." She frowned.

"Shall I come out and join you in battle?" I shrugged.

"Sure, I bet it  gets boring in here after awhile." She chuckled.

"It does get a little boring." I grinned.

'"Great, let's go!" I closed my eyes and concentrated on my body and soon I was back on the battlefield but Jasmine was by my side. She looked fierce with her katana. The hilt was the same shade of purple as her kimono. I wonder if she has any magic of her own. I never thought to ask. Oh well.

Jaye, don't get distracted.

Oh right, Deatheaters.

I dodged a few Killing Curses and sent  back some Leg-Locker Curses of my own. My victims' faces looked hilarious as they fell over.

I woke up gasping. What was that? A premonition? What were Deatheaters doing there and more importantly where was it taking place? Man, I've seriously got to pay attention to things like that -_-

Nice going smart one -_-

Shush! >:(

Nope! ;)

Jerk face :(

Anyways, the day of the World Cup is finally here and according to the clock on the nightstand, Mrs. Weasley is about to come and wake us up. But all I wanted to do was go back to sleep. I sighed and decided to get dressed. It was better to do that  than to wait on Mrs. Weasley to come get us up. That'd just make it more depressing. Ugh, why'd we have to get up so early anyways? As soon as I finished getting dressed, Mrs. Weasley walked in looking all surprised to see me up. I grinned. "Good morning, dear."

"Good morning!" I greeted her cheerfully.

"Girls, it's time to get up!" Ginny groaned as she and Hermione got up. "Breakfast will be ready in ten minutes. And Jaye, darling, an owl just came for you this morning." I nodded.

"Thanks." She smiled and left the room.

"Wow, you got up before us." Hermione said shocked. I shrugged.

"Yeah, well, I'm beginning to realize just how much Harry and I are alike." I muttered frowning before going into the bathroom. If I didn't get in there first, Ginny would hog the whole thing to herself and take a whole hour to get ready. Seriously, she used to not be like that, but now that she's seen Rye-muffin as competition, she's been dipping into her evil, girly side. Me and her actually got into yesterday because she was talking bad about Rye-muffin and I wasn't going to sit there and let her do it. I mean I know I did it last year, but I felt horrible for it and now that we've made up, I'm happy. Besides, Ginny has no reason to be messing with her. And I told her that! Fred and George backed me up a little and she got pissed and stomped off to her room, annoying Percy as she did. So it was a win-win situation for everyone but her and Percy I guess. Anyways, I guess whatever tension that was between Fred and George seemed to have vanished and I'm glad. I hate it when those two fight with each other. It sucks! Good news, George and I have been getting closer now that we've talked it out! I'm so happy! I don't know if it means anything, but I've been wanting to get closer to George but it was nearly impossible, because I felt like he was just keeping me at arms' length, if you know what I mean.
