Y/n's pov
I told Clarke and O that I asked Mal out and she said yes.
"I gotta say I didn't think you would actually do it L/n" Clarke said and I roll my eyes
"Yeah well now you gotta ask Kelley out" I said and she rolls her eyes
"Yeah I will" she said
"So when is your date?" O asked
"Later today I'm picking her up at 6" I said smiling
"Aw what are you guys going to do?"
"I'm just gonna keep it causal, were gonna have a picnic then I'm going to take her to the fair that is in town" I said
"Aw that's cute" O said smiling. The three of us make small talk but I send a text to Kelley saying to come to our room. Minutes later there's a knock on the door and I open it and it Kelley.
"Oh Kelley! Come on in" I said and I look at Clarke who is glaring at me and I hear O bust out laughing.
"Uh thanks so you wanted to talk to me?" She asked
"Oh uh not me Clarke does though" I say laughing a bit.
"Oh um what is it Clarke?" She asked
"Um r-right I uh just wanted to know if you wanted to go out with me you know officially like as my girlfriend" Clarke said
"Sure I'd love to but it's just-" Kelley started
"Just what?" Clarke said biting her lip
"I kinda already thought we were official" Kelley said and O and I look at each other and bust out laughing and Clarke blushes.
"Oh um yeah I just wanted to be sure" Clarke said scratching the back of her neck and Kelley laughs at her.
"Your cute Griffin" she says giving her a peck on the cheek and walking out of the room. Clarke glares a O and I as we laugh our butts off.
"I hate you two" she says as we continue to laugh
"Hey at least you two are officially together now" I said and O nods.
"I wish I had one of those pens right now" Clarke mumbles
"That's not funny I went flying like 20 feet" I said pointing at her
"Wait what pen?" O asked confused
"Y/n thought this thing was a pen but when the guy clicked it, it turned into a blaster and she got blasted and went flying into some boxes" Clarke said
"HA!" O said and I rolled my eyes. Someone knocks on the door and I get up to answer it. I open it and see Alex.
"Get a few of us are going out for lunch and we're wondering if you all wanted to come" she said
"I actually have to run to the store to pick up a few things but Clarke and O might want to go" I said walking back into the room looking for car keys.
"One of us has to stay so Clarke you can go" O said
"You sure?" She asked
"Hey Alex is Kelley going by chance?" O asked
"Yeah she is why do you ask?"
"Oh no reason but yeah Clarke will definitely go now won't you Clarke?" O asked raising her eyebrows.
"Uh yeah I'll go"
"Okay well were leaving now" Alex said and Clarke gets up and walks out with Alex. I find the keys and say bye to O and I drive to the store and buy a picnic basket and some food that I know Mal likes. I check out and drive back to the hotel and look at the clock and it says 3pm. I walk into the room to see O sitting watching tv.
"Hey O I'm back"
"What did you get?"
"Just a few things that I know she likes I have to start making some of it though"
"Ooh can I help"
"Sure" We spend the next two hours preparing the food. I get ready in the bathroom and meet O by the door and she hands me the basket. I still have a few minutes so I run to the car and put the basket in the back of the car. I go back in and knock on Mal's door and seconds later she opens it and I smile.
"You look great" I said and she smiled
"Thanks so do you"
"Are you ready?"
"Yeah let's go"
"HAVE HER BACK BY MIDNIGHT!" I hear Rose yell and I laugh and nod. Mal and I go to the car and I open the door for her.
"Such a gentlewomen" she says
"Only for you" I smile and she laughs I get in and drive to the area I set up earlier while I was out at the store. I park and grab the picnic basket from the back and lead her over to the spot and I hear her gasp.
"Y/n it's so pretty you can see all the lights in the city" she smiled
"I'm glad you like it" we sit down and I pull out the food and we eat and talk.
"So what made you want to ask me out, I was almost certain that I was gonna have to ask you" she says
"Well I think we both knew a date between us was bound to happen. It happened sooner than later thanks to a little motivation from Clarke and O."
"Well I guess I gotta thank them for telling you to woman up" she said and I laughed nodding my head. We watch the sun start to set and we leave and I take us to the fair. We play games and eat some junk food, I win Mal a stuffed bear and we ride the Ferris wheel. I look at the time and see that it's 10:15. We head back and I walk her to her room.
"Thanks for tonight I really had fun"
"Enough fun to go on a second one?"
"You're cute Y/n, yeah we can go on a second date" she says and I smile
"Great! Goodnight Mal" I say and kiss her head and she blushes
"Goodnight Y/n"
