Beep beep. Oh no. It's eleven o'clock already. Two hours until I will meet Riru and I only just woke up. I throw on my PATD top and slip on some jeans. I tie my hair into a bun and grab some random socks. Wait. What's that smell? It's pancakes. I race down stairs, into the dining room and grab a plate from the table.

"Pancakes, now," I demand as I sit in my chair. Mum sighs and places a couple on my plate. I scoff them down, only after putting on every single sauce though. "Mum, I finished my book, can you recommend any to me?" I ask as I go to put my plate away.

"Well there's Missing You," mum says.
"Sounds like a romance and you know they're not really my thing."
"I suppose."
"Anything else?"
"How about Harry Potter?"
"I've read them all twice because Riri wanted me to. I'm not reading them again."
"Which friend's that?" Mum asks. I sigh and grab Riri's old history homework from my bag. "The one that said I was a caterpillar."

"Wait! I know!" I shout, running to my bookshelf. "Where is it?" I murmur. Here it is, Fairytail: An Unknown Family. I love this book soooo much, it's only reasonable to read it for the 12 time; I spend the next hour reading with my face stuffed in the book. "Finished!" I shout with glee. "Wait. Finished? Already! I need another book!" I continue.

Ugh, why must I read this book so quickly. I'll just buy another one while I'm out. 12 o'clock, better start going. I head out of the house, my bag hanging over my shoulder and quickly pop into the book store. Or not. Lance, of all people, is here. Just ignore him, he's just an idiot. I head to the mania section and grab the first fairy tail book that I see. "Fairy Tail: A new story," I read. Guess it could work.

"Kasumi! Hi," shouts Ruri as she pulls me into a hug. "Hi, I thought we were meeting at the park," I laugh, scruffing her hair. "Well, I heard that there was a book on demons here and I wanted to check it out," she replies awkwardly. Suddenly, my phone vibrates loudly, it's my group chat, the dinosaur squad. Well, it's not mine, Yano and Charlotte made it.

"Hey guys! I need a date idea? Riyu wants to take me out but wants me to choose where!" Gamumei sends. "Omy omy omy!" Kyo replies. "Sjruhhekkxjvjdsksognrjsoso," I send. "Not helping!" Gamumei sends. "So, I've just been waiting for this moment for eons," Kyo sends. "Kyo, you've only been alive for 16 years," Charlotte says. "STILL."

"Ooo maybe a romantic dinner in that restaurant in Shisuta Town!" Honey Chan types. "Wut?" Yano sends, confused. "Date ideas," Charlotte texts. "Ohh, ok. Maybe you guys could go look at sphinxes." Yano types. Ugh, they're soooo gross. "What's a sphinx?" Asks Honey. "Ewww no way," Gamumei replies. "A sphinx is the ugliest thing ever. It's a cat with no fur," I complain.

"Blob fishes are uglier!" Yano argues. "Truuu," Charlotte says. "I just looked at pictures of sphinxes and Kasumi is right, they are ugly as," Honey sends. Yes! I'm right. "DATE IDEAS PLZ!" Interrupts Gamumei. "Oooo I know! U guys should... um ... watch a ton of movies at ur place and eat trash food!" Kyo replies with a voice message, as nerdy as ever. "Oke I'll give those options to Riyu. Kthxbai," Gamumei says.

I turn off my phone and apologise to Ruri. We head to the park and she throws a blue picnic blanket down, she's really prepared. "I have sandwiches, drinks, and yummy snacks," she chirps.

We quickly eat and I realise that it's already three o'clock. "Sorry Ruri, gotta go, my mum needs me," I say, waving goodbye. It's a terrible excuse, but I don't want to tell her about me possibly leaving school, and I keep going to do it. I slowly walk off, "What if I am forced to leave? I just can't tell mum if anything bad hap- AHH!" Suddenly, Kyo launches herself onto me and says, "SHIRO, SHE'S HERE!" No,no no no no!

"Oh, uh, hi Shiro, when did you two become friends?" I ask awkwardly. "In math class, he needed help," Kyo chirps. I wave goodbye and try to stroll off, but my love stops me. "Kasumi, Ruri said you dropped this," he says handing me a pink notebook. Instantly, I slap him and take the book from his hand. "The locks not there! Did you read it, baka?" I ask.

"No, of course not, it's your diary after all. I don't know what happened to the lock though," he replies. "Oh, sorry for hitting you," I murmur, "It's like I always do it when I don't know what to do. I've gotta go, bye!" Ruri must've looked, in fact, there's a note. "Kasumi, don't worry, me and all of your friends are here to help you," I read aloud, "Thanks, Ruri," I murmur.

Authors note:
Sorry I haven't updated this in a while. I promise that I will work on it more and hopefully finish it in a few weeks time.
