"Danny?" I heard a faint voice call through the darkness. "Danny!" It's yelled this time. I was woken by a strong force grabbing my shoulders and shaking me violently. I sat up quickly and wiped away the tears and sweat from my face as I looked to see Arabella sitting over me, a worried look on her face.
"Huh?" I said confused. I sat before remembering the nightmare I'd just had which instantly brought tears to my eyes.
"Hey, it's okay. Everything's okay. I'm here." Bella said, pulling me into a tight hug. I sobbed into her shoulder, wetting it as I heard a faint patter running up the wood stairs. The door creaked open and Harvey came running in, jumping onto the bed and licking the salty tears off my face. I laughed as I squeezed him tight and nudged into Bella, her wrapping her arms around me and resting her chin on my shoulder watching me play with the dog. I leaned back and snuggled into her chest as I felt my eyes begin to close and I drifted off into a peaceful sleep.
