Scared
Scarred
Battered
Betrayed
Got a bun in the oven, but my happiness is delayed
Scared for his or her life
As I was for the one when I was a wife
Loss that one and it hurt like a puncturing knife
Woke up in a puddle full of blood
Just kept dripping down my leg, causing a flood
His or her life gone
Don't wanna go through that again all on my own
I won't be alone but I would feel alone
It'd just be wrong
Innocent life had to suffer
Psyching myself out
Can't help but have my doubt
I just hope that it's different this time around

Keisha, Tiffany, and I have been hanging out all day long. We have been to a nail shop for manicures and pedicures. We went to a hair salon because Keisha and Tiffany wanted new hairstyles. Keisha wanted a simple new weave, and Tiffany wanted her hair died blonde. They kept trying to get me to switch the style up, but I didn't really feel like it.

We are now going from store to store in the mall because they are both shopaholics. I guess that's why they became such good friends do quick.

"Ooo Dri. What do you think about this one?" Tiffany asked coming out of the dressing room. She has on a black dress that has a sweetheart neckline.

"Every girl needs to have a little black dress or two." Keisha said while coming out of a separate dressing room with a similar one on.

"Agreed." Tiffany giggled.

"Why aren't you trying on any clothes Dri?" Keisha asked as Tiffany went back in the dressing room.

There is a simple answer to that question. The only things I could really try on without blowing my cover would be maxi dresses. Much like the one I have on today. I can't try on all of these form fitting things they're trying on.

"Y'all are trying on enough clothes for the... three of us."

I really just almost fucked around and said four. I need to be careful.

"You can never try on too many clothes Dri. You haven't really seemed too into today. You don't seem to be into today that much. Is there a reason why?"

"I just don't f-"

"This is the dress!"

Tiffany excitedly came out of the dressing room with a thigh length cheetah print dress on. She has been searching for the perfect dress for her date tonight, which is one of the excuses she used for having this shopping spree.

Her and Keisha both went all coo coo for cocoa puffs over the dress while I simply watched them.

"Ooo yes! And if you really wanna be bold we need to go get those heels we seen in the last store."

"Yes you're totally right! Those would go great with this dress."

Tiffany changed back into her regular clothes so she could purchase the items she got. When we walked out of the store, I came up with an idea.

"Hey. Why don't I just take the bags and meet you guys outside? I'm sure the shoes are the last thing you need for your outfit?"

They agreed. They gave me the bags then we went our separate ways. I love those girls but they are too much. We have been gone all day and I am ready to get somewhere and sit my ass down. Even if I wasn't pregnant I would still be ready to go.

I had to wait for them at least a good thirty minutes before we could finally leave the mall.

First I dropped Tiffany off at home, then I drove Keisha home. I had every intention of just dropping her off and going home, but two things stopped me from doing that. Raheem's car in the driveway, and Juliette sitting on the porch.
