Lyra, the daughter of the Alpha of the Vigorous Moonlight Pack was positive when she found her mate, somehow; everything would be better. It seemed to be better for her brother, for her friends, for everyone.
Yet, things go completely wrong when she discovers who her mate is. He's the son of the Alpha from the Tumultuous Moon Wolf Pack; the same pack that her people are raging a war against, it is the same pack that killed her people, her mother. He's also the werewolf who her people are told to fear and kill.
In the middle of a bloody battle between the two packs is when Lyra finds him, and he finds her. Choosing to be with him, to love him-is something Lyra isn't sure she wants the chance to take, but she does it anyway.
Maybe love can't conquer everything.
