/Ash's POV\

Pain throughout my body is the first thing that I could register. Slowly I opened my eyes to see a bright light coming from my right, as well at the ceiling above me looking dirty. Looking around, I notice that I am laying under a cover made of broken pieces of cement. As I turn onto my right side I see a wall of vines covering the outside from a perfect view. Confused I move some of the vines to the side and peak out, seeing that I am in an area I am unfamiliar with. Closing the wall of vines once again, I lay back onto my back relaxing into the sleeping bag underneath me. I sigh deeply, feeling the ache in my muscles slowly subside, and after a while it was tolerable enough to search the little alcove I was in. On my left was the bag I snagged at the Cornucopia, my sword, and another bag that looked completely filled. I lift the unidentified bag onto my lap and open it up only to see that there was what looked like a small note and smaller bags inside. I take the note out and see a message written in mud,

Ash, I know you will be confused when you wake up, but I'll make this short since she is hunting us both. There is a devil among us, I've seen her kill cold-heartedly and I just want to warn you. I have hidden you in a small alcove in a building close to the end of the arena and by the time you wake up I will be long gone. I hope the food I left behind with you is enough, I also left some of the medicine I received, so good luck. I hope to see you again before one of us is killed.

Your Friend,

Selv Diota

I sat there shocked at what Selv wrote but also confused, who is this Devil? After reading the note I set it aside and look further into the bag to see cooked meat that seemed a day old, berries, nuts, a canister full of water, some more rope, and a little box that contained a light green gel. I smile at how generous Selv was with leaving these supplies for me, she kept our alliance. After reloading all the supplies I check my bag and see that everything is still there, but my canister for water was filled this time. I sit in the alcove for another hour before peeking out of the vines into my surrounding and seeing that no one else was there. Coast clear. I smile I crawl out taking my stuff with me, then head towards the only door in the room I was in. I look out into the hallway and once again there was no one there, so I take this as my opportunity to see outside the window at the end of the hall to see where I am at. Outside the window I saw buildings to one side and a little farther off I saw what looked like an ocean. I shiver as I look at the water, remembering that I couldn't swim that well. Just the thought of a big area of water sent chills down my spine. I turn away from the window and look for a way down from the floor I was at, and I was lucky enough to find a stairway.

As I made my way down the stairwell I kept close to the wall and tried to keep as quiet as I could, as well as trying to stay away from any windows. The closer I got to the ground I started to realize that it was getting colder by the minute. With this new cold weather approaching I zip both jackets up and pull the hood up to cover my freezing ears. By the time I reach the bottom of the stairs, the temperature is cold enough for me to see my breath clearly and I could feel my nose numbing. Slowly and quietly making my way to the door I look through the small window in the door and look into the hallway to see it covered in vines and exotic flowers that had frost all over it. The door had a bit of ice on it, making it a struggle to try and open it, but I eventually got it open. I cautiously walk through the hall and make my way to what looks like lobby when I start to hear a steady beeping nose. I lift my sword in defense as I make my way towards the door when I see a parachute, with a small container, land on the ground. I rush forward, look around my surroundings, and pick the container up before I rushed back inside and sat myself behind the cover of a desk. I open the container to see a small card and a small bottle. I look at the bottle first, which was full of a bright blue liquid, then I looked at the card. I smiled at what was on the card, feeling a warmth spread throughout my body,
