Jasmine & Jacob|Chapter 8

Jasmine woke up with her head pouting, it was hurting like hell, so was her body. She could hardly move her hand; her wrist was paining like hell. She had to get her phone, to get some help her. So she slowly got up on her knee, ignoring the pain in her leg as she pulls up the towel up to cover her naked body. She turns the door knob with her free hand that wasn’t hurt badly, luckily it was open.

                She slowly crawls into the hallway lean on the wall trying not to hurt her wrist. It took Jasmine awhile to reach her hand bag that was on the kitchen counter. She slowly stood up and took her phone  out of her bag, when she accidentally held onto the counter with her sick wrist and scream out “Ah!” dropping her cell phone on the table. When the pain the burn slightly wear out she took up her cell phone and press redial and Melissa answered.

“Hey jasmine?” she said cheerfully

“Can you come a get me” she said with tears in her eyes

“What’s wrong Jasmine!” she asked suddenly with curiosity

“Just come and get me” she said, then hangs up the phone and sat down on the floor silently sobbing.

A moment later Jasmine heard the front door burst open and Melissa came running in calling her name. “Jasmine! Jasmine!” she shouted “Over her” I answered wiping the tears from her eyes.

“Oh my god Jasmine what happen to you” she said touching Jasmine

“Just help me and get me to a doctor” I said impatiently ignoring her question. Melissa lifts my hand and brought me back to my room and helps me get dress and out the door we went.

“Your wrist is badly sprain sweetheart, you won’t be able to use for a couple of weeks” said Doctor Malcolm

“A couple of weeks!” said Melissa

“Yea, it seems she hit or fell on it really hard, pulling a muscle, so I am encouraging you not to do anything with your hands until the next three weeks when you come back” said Doctor Malcolm writing on his clipboard.,

“I’ll make sure of that doctor!” said Melissa

“Make sure I heard she’s a workaholic” he said

“You need to take some rest and here are some pills to take for the pain and your headache” he said helping her of the bed.

“Thank you”

“You’re welcome” he said with a smile.

“I heard Jacob is back in town and the incident at the reunion”

“Yea, it will get old soon” I said taking my bag from Melissa.

“I don’t think so, I guess you haven’t seen the paper this morning, I think you should get one, another scenario in the air” said Doctor Malcolm

“Doctor Mr. Leslie would like to see you know” said one of the nurses as she smiled at jasmine.

“Ok, I’ll see you in three weeks” he said placing a kiss on her forehead

“And please find away to get that girl from Jacob, she don’t fit with the Jacksons” he said with a smile and walks out and the nurse walk off with him.

“Come on sweetheart, Mrs. Jackson ask me to come by, she wants to talk me about something” she said walking into the hallway.

“So you’re telling me that jasmine and Sabrina is in great danger Kearny” asked Mrs. Jackson with a worried look on her face

“Yea, I just like I told you, you’ve got to keep Sabrina indoors” said Duncan

“And Jasmine” she asked

“She’s the one that will lead me to the culprit, but it’s dangerous but she doesn’t know”

“But why them, they have money”

“Jasmine doesn’t have a dime as far as I know” said Mrs. Jackson quickly

“Yea, she does, one that her parents left for that she doesn’t know about”

“And how much is that, Two million dollars and Sabrina own is One million”

“Mrs. Jackson covers her mouth surprise

“You can’t tell anyone, until we solve this case up, so I was wondering if I could stick around for a few days to study jasmine routine and where she lives now”

“Ok, but before you get all upset, I won’t let Jasmine get hurt “Said Duncan

“I know I can trust” she said hugging him same time Jacob and Kayla walked in

“Mom has jasmine called”

“No why I’ve been calling her all night but she won’t pick up, I’m getting worried Jasmine never do that and I tried again this morning but still no answer” said Jacob pacing phone. Mrs. Jackson looks at Duncan

“I try calling me with her phone but she’s not picking” said Kayla walking in.

“We too “said Charles and Lela as everyone else walking. Sabrina ran into the kitchen crying.

“What is wrong sweetie?” asked Mrs. Jackson

“Mommy promises me that she was coming to read me bedtime story” she said rubbing her wet eyes.

“Ok sweetie, mommy is coming over today and I promise you I’ll get her to read you a story” said Mrs. Jackson kissing Sabrina hair and rubbing her back.

“Everyone walked into the Living room when the door was open and Jasmine and Melissa came.

“Oh my God Jasmine, What happen to you” said Jacob running up to her.

“She won’t answered me or Doctor Malcolm about that”

“Damn she’s secretive these days” said Melissa

Jacob lift me up and brought me to sit on the couch where everyone was staring at me” hoping that I’ll give them answer.

“Mommy” said Sabrina coming on the sofa and lie down in my lap as I rub down her back with my free hand.

“Mmhmm” said Jacob clearing his throat. Look up at everyone staring at me including a new face.

“Jasmine are you going to tell us how this happen” said Kayla

“It’s nothing, we’ve been calling you all night and there’s no answer that’s not the Jasmine we know” said Jacob getting furious

“It’s nothing” I said still rubbing Sabrina’s back.

“Jasmine!” said Jacob I look up at Jacob who was furious as hell. There was no way I was going to tell him about Merdic I can’t afford any more drama.  

“Jasmine this is not you” said Kayla sitting down, why won’t you tell what happen and who did this to you “said Kayla

“It nothing I was just doing some cleaning and I fell down” said Kayla

“Really now!” said Kayla a she lifts up sleeping Sabrina to bring her to her room.

“I’m going to talk to Jacob I’ll be back in a moment. I said as I went out on the balcony.
