Charlie’s POV

It’s been almost 2 weeks since Elise went back to college, she said she just needed to finish things and pack a few of her stuff then she’s gonna go back here and stay, we’ll at least until the next semester starts and that’s like in weeks! I can’t wait to see her again

“Hey!”

I looked up and saw Emma, a classmate and friend of mine, with a smile and holding two books, “Can I sit next to you?”

I smiled and nodded. Emma sat and I went back to reading, we have a pop quiz coming up so I decided to study for it and what a better place to study than in the library

“Hey, can I copy some notes? I think I fell asleep in the middle of the discussion” Emma asked

“You “think” you fell asleep?” I replied and handed her my notebook

“Yeah, I just kinda sleep without realizing it sometimes”

I giggled a bit and continued reading

Emma was in the middle of copying my notes when she turned to me and said “Congratulations by the way”

I looked at her in confusion “for what?”

“For you and Jasmine, I mean honestly, I never thought you two would officially become a couple but I gue-”

I shook my head and cut Emma off “wait what? What?! We’re not a couple! Who said we were?!”

“Jasmine did, she’s been talking about you two for days now, I think most of the student body knows it”

“That bitch…” I turned to Emma “Look Em, we’re not a couple. We’re not even dating! What the hell is she telling people?!” I quickly stood and stormed out of the library and quickly looked for Jasmine

I found Jasmine by the lockers, happily talking to her posse

I grabbed her wrist and furiously looked at her, “we need to talk” I said and pulled her towards the courtyard

“Hey! Can you slow down?! And loosen your grip! I’m not going anywhere!” Jasmine yelled as we quickly walked to the part of the courtyard where there are less people

“What are you so furious about Charlie?” Jasmine asked when she sensed my mood

I let her go and looked straight at her “What’s with all this “we’re a couple” crap?!”

“Is that what this is all about?” Jasmine reacted nonchalantly “I got tired of waiting on you, so I told people we’re together, I mean, we’re eventually gonna get there”

“Shit Jasmine! Didn’t I tell you before that I only see you as a friend and nothing more?”

“Yeah, but that was a long time ago, things change”

“Nothing has change between us! I have a girlfriend for pete’s sake!! You cannot just tell people we’re together without me knowing!!”

Jasmine then got serious, “What do you mean you have a girlfriend?”

I stared at her furiously and didn’t answer

“Fuck Charlie! I’ve been waiting for you for so long and then you decide to get a girlfriend!? What the hell!!” Jasmine yelled as her eyes started tearing up “I’ve been in love with since the first time we met! You can’t just go around and get a girlfriend!”
