Chapter 22 - A boring day

I didn't see Dad or Rhina this morning thankfully. They'd already left for work! I grabbed an apple and banana and left the house a little later than usual as I slept in. I pulled up at school only 5 minutes later than usual though, but the gang was still stood outside waiting,

"Hey" I said walking over,

"Hey Tam" Crystal smiled,

"Hey sexy" Brad said, I rolled my eyes,

"Are you okay? How did it go back home?" Tori asked quietly as we walked in,

"Shit" I said,

"Oh Tam, I'm sorry"

"I'll just suck it up for everyone's sake, maybe he'll change his mind about this Rhina girl and become my Dad again, but...I doubt it"

"Well you can stay at mine whenever, I've already told you that"

"I know, thanks Hun," we got to our tutor room and Mrs Yama was nowhere to be seen. We sat on the tables and just began to talk,

"I'm really worried something's happened to Logan" Crystal said. I'm worried something's happened to all of them, I thought,

"I know, it really isn't like him, he hasn't even got in contact with any of us to say he's okay" Tori said,

"I'm sure he's fine, Logan can take care of himself" Brad said,

"You would say that" Crystal scolded,

"What!" Brad said offended, I rolled my eyes and he smiled. More kids trundled into the classroom and the bell soon went for the beginning of tutor time, but Mrs Yama didn't actually appear,

"Maybe she's the same place as Logan" Brad said,

"It's odd, she's always in"

"Well maybe she just fancied a day off" Brad said,

"Oh, yeah Brad, like she can just decide, I'm not coming into school day, I fancy a day off" I retorted, he stuck his tongue out at me. So obviously since we had no teacher, there was a lot of rowdiness and loud talking. 5 minutes before the end of tutor time, Mrs Yama came in looking hot and bothered and out of breath,

"Are you okay Mrs Yama?" Tori asked, she nodded and sat down catching her breath, she took the register and then the bell went.

"Weird" Crystal said as we left the room.

I had R.S first, so I was by myself since I'd been abandoned by the Sanchez's! I took my seat and after Mr Oxford had finished telling us to get on with our projects. I did just that, I'd basically done it, without the help of Trent, I mean, I didn't mind, I actually enjoyed researching and doing this project anyway. The lesson went considerably quick thankfully and I had business with Tori next so at least I could talk to her. Even better when I walked in to see that we had a supply. Yes, no work! Tori smiled as I sat down next to her.

"I love lessons like this"

"Me too", I looked at the supply teacher, she was old, very old, I would say at least 80 and that was being kind to the lady,

"I'm Mrs Fox and I'm your supply for today, I've been told you there are worksheets for you to complete to be handed in by the end of the lesson"

I take that back, she was older than 80. She got someone to hand out the worksheets, because I don't think she would have got around the classroom without collapsing. The class then began to talk and not do any work, she did attempt to shout at us, but it came out as a mere whisper.
