Chapter 18 - I owe you

"Dom, it's Tammara um...

Are you okay, what have they done?

I'm fine...well kind of fine, 5 men came to the house, I ran and I don't know where I am...I thought...

You thought it was my doing

Yeah

Well it isn't

Dom I don't know what to do. I don't know where I am, it's pitch bloody black and I'm alone...

Don't panic, I'm coming to find you, can you see anything, anything at all?

Hang on", I shone the phone ahead of me, basically all I could see was darkness. No wait, a road, yep that is definitely a road. Not that, that helps or anything,

"I'm at a road side, but I don't know which one or...

That's okay, just stay on the road side and I'll come and find you, I'll be as quick as I can okay

Okay...thank you", he hung up and I leant against a tree, clutching my phone which was the only source of light, my crutches strewn somewhere on the ground near me. I was worried, worried about the Sanchez's, if Dom didn't send those people, then that meant it was bad news.

Some shit was going down and it certainly wasn't good shit.

...

It seemed like hours before I saw car headlights, I walked out on the road, crutches making a eerie tapping sound, they slowed and someone got out, I held my breath and only let it go when I saw Dom, he hugged me,

"You okay?"

"I am now, just worried about...you know...",

"They can look after their selves, lets get you home" He said, I got in the car,

"I don't want to go home, can you...can you drop me off somewhere else?"

"If you're sure then yes",

"I am...I can't face my Dad tonight" he smiled,

"Daddy trouble" I smiled,

"Yep" and we zoomed on down the road.

...

"Thank you Dom. I owe you" I told him getting out the car,

"Happy to help, I just don't understand why your friends with them"

"Because they are different"

"Yeah I'll believe it when I see it", I smiled,

"Well I'm waiting for that day"

"Don't worry about tomorrow. I know you aren't going to listen to me trying to make you change your mind about them," I laughed,

"I'm not, but I'll still meet you, sixth form is boring at the moment. I fancy a day out" he grinned,

"Okay. I'll meet you at school"

"Can't wait" I smiled closing the car door. I waved him off and walked to the door and opened up, braving the lift by myself to the 3rd floor.

Knock...Knock...

The door swung open,

"Tammara, what are you doing here?"
