Luke's POV

"Wake up."

"I SAID WAKE UP!"

My eyes fluttered open, the basement light was back on, and I had fallen asleep on the floor. And I had a pissed off twenty- one year old eying me down.

"Who the fuck said you could put your clothes on? I want them off."

I rubbed my eyes, them having to adjust to the light before I answered.

"I did and I want them on."

Jason slammed me against the wall, slapping me right side the face before it.

"I don't think you have a say. I. Want. Them. Off."

"Mali would've said the same thing I did, asshole."

His face calmed for a second, a face so full of memories before it angered again.

"How do you know about Mali, Luke."

I sighed, his grasp still focused on my waistline.

"Calum's her brother dumbass."

Jason let go, shoving me to the ground as he angrily mumbled something under his breath.

"You know," I said as he turned his head towards me.

"It wasn't a smart idea to hit Mali like that...just saying."

"What the fuck do you know,"
Jason yelled at me again. Predictable.

He then saw his phone on the ground, picking it up and opening it

"Did you use my fucking phone?!"

I bit my already busted lip, more blood coming out as I said nothing.

"I asked you a fucking question."

"I don't have to answer it."

He grabbed me by my shirt, standing me up, and hitting me in the stomach as he did. That's another one to add the the collection of past and present scars.

"You little fucking-"

"WHY DO YOU WANT ME SO MUCH?" I shouted, closing my eyes and turning my head to the side to brace for impact.

Silence.

Jason's face calmed, letting go of my shirt and running his hands through his pitch black hair.

"I- don't know..."

I started to walk near him, placing my hand on his shoulder. Shit I felt bad.

"Jason I didn't know-"

"YOU MADE HER FUCKING LEAVE!"

In the next few seconds I had kicked to the ground and my hands flew to my face.

"SHE WAS THE ONE, BUT YOUR SLUTTY ASS MADE HER LEAVE."

His foot came in contact with my ribs multiple times, pain shot through all my body as he did.

"I-I'm sorry! I-I didn't know-"

Then I  heard a crack.

My left side started to painfully hurt, more than normal. Thick tears fell down my porcelain skin as Jason kept yelling.

"YOU SHOULD HAVE KEPT YOUR SLUTTY MOUTH SHUT!"

My body felt weak, weaker than it ever has.

"P-please, not again..."

Jason's words became less easy to understand.
My vision hazed, his body fuzzy and losing the color every second.

Then my vision went to black.

Calum's POV

"Hurry up Calum!! We don't have all day!"

Emilia yelled just as we got close to
Luke's location.

"Why don't you shut the hell up!"

"Michael texts back quicker than this!!! And that's takes like a day!!"

"Fuck you."

"Ew you nasty."

"I DON'T MEAN IT LITERALLY BITCH."

We pulled up to the house, well more like a abandoned warehouse.

"Fuck," Emilia said.

"You were right...."

I jumped out of the car, slamming my door and yelling at Emilia some more.

I checked every damn window and door but no luck.

That was before Emilia spoke up.

"Uh... Calum? You might want to see this..."

I ran over to her, accidentally shoving her out of the way making her fall to the ground.

"Hey!!"

I mumbled a sorry before continuing.

It broke my heart in two.

There Luke was, laying on the basement ground. His scars were everywhere on his stomach-

His stomach.

His ribs were poking out, so visible from a far distance. Cuts scattered his malnourished figure along with bruises and bite marks.

"He hadn't been there for a long time, why does it-"

Emilia let out a long sigh, her smile fading as she scratched the back of her neck.

"I'm sorry Calum I should have told you earlier but-"

"But what?"

"I think Luke is becoming anorexic."

"Please tell me you're lying..."

She shook her head no, putting her hands in her pockets and walking closer.

"I'm not one to judge but,"

"Lately I've noticed how skinny Luke's legs have gotten, and you know how thick they are,"

I looked closer at the window.

He was tied to the floor, scars running down his back and his legs. A dark bruise had formed right by his right ribs.

"Calum...."

"We need to get in there."

She nodded her head, her face lighting up as if she had an idea.

Emilia picked up a rock, lightly tapping it against the glass window until it shattered to bits.

She slowly stepped over the glass, practically climbing down the wall before she reached the floor. I did the same.

I ran toward Luke, kneeling down next to him and bridal-style picking him up in my arms.

A tear feel out, running down my face as I held him closer.

"It's going to be okay, we're going to get you out of here...."

I stood up, walking back toward the window so I wouldn't wake him up.

"See you found my little toy."
Someone said behind me.

I turned around, still holding Luke in my arms.

"Hello Calum."

"Hello, Jason."

"Let's have a little fun."
