As a mother now I do what's best for my daughter. If I go to see Xando I pray that my daughter and Carter stay safe. I'm going to see what he has to say to me. I need to keep my family out of danger. I feel my soul dropping because I know this meeting probably won't end well. I just have to make this right...
I was in the kitchen figuring out in my head how this plan was going to work. I still had Xando's number saved in my phone. So I dialed him up and brace myself waiting for him to answer.
"Well...well I see you decided to give me a call" His voice boomed
"Cut the bullshit Xando...we need to settle this. Why won't you just leave me alone?" I was so angry
"It's not that easy sweetheart...I always get what I'm going after" He chuckled
"You fucking left me to die in a damn parking lot. You are a truly the devil himself" I spat him
"I want you to listen to me clear. I will there in town in the next few days so I'll call you to set up this meeting" This entire idea was setting myself up for failure
"Whatever...!"
"Oh and don't get any ideas I will have no remorse of killing anyone you love especially that little bastard child of yours!"
"You touch my family and I will fuck you up...you sick fuck!" I slammed the phone down I was so angry with all this damn emotions
Carter came running in the room wondering what the hell happened. I just screamed and picked up a vase I threw it at the wall causing it to shatter in a million pieces. How the hell was I going to tell Carter about this?
"Whoa! Jhene chill the out! What the hell is going on?!" He grabbed my arms before I could grab anything else
"I...it's...Xando! I have to fix this he won't stop until he has me. I can't endanger you or anyone else I love you so much Carter" I began to cry because I was overwhelmed
"No you aren't I'll do whatever it takes to protect my family. I'll meet with him and figure things out from there" He held onto me as tight as he could
"Jhene I'm going to have the guys take you and Maddelena to our family safe home. I know I haven't told you about it yet but it's very important that you don't contact me from there"
"What?! No Carter I can't just let you do this by yourself" I wasn't going to let my fiancé just put his life on the line like that
"Jhene just listen to me! I promise I will contact you. Everything else will be taken care of accordingly. I love you guys so much." I could see the fearlessness in his eyes, which scared me because I knew there was a possible chance that Carter may not come back to me
"Promise me you will be safe...we still have our wedding to plan for and you have to see Madde first steps. Come back in one piece" I got choked up a little this was too much to bare
"Come on let's go get you and Madde prepared to leave for the safe house" We walked upstairs and I walked towards the master bedroom pulling out all our packing bags because there is no telling how long we will be gone for
Carter's POV
I walked into the baby room and seen Madde staring at the ceiling making baby noises. I picked her up and she smiled at me God she looks just like her mother but had my eyes and hair. I spun her around and she giggled away.
"Listen principessa I promise to always protect you and mami. Even when you get older I'll be on those dick head boys for you, excuse me language little one but papa has got to keep it real with you at all times. I so hope I'm making the right decisions for you. I love you and mami so so much little one." I kissed her pretty cheeks and she smiled nothing but all gums God she has me so wrapped around her finger I don't know how I will get through it when she gets older.
I began packing up everything the baby would need for the safe house. They were going to be gone for awhile. Xando and I have a lot of shit to talk about and if he thinks he is going to fuck over me and mine well he can kiss his life goodbye. As I was getting ready to grab some toys I heard Jhene screaming. I ran downstairs with my gun drawn to see what was going on....
Jhene POV
As I was packing my clothes I went downstairs to grab some shoes. When all of sudden I felt something cold and sharp press against my neck. I didn't know what to do I was terrified...
"CARTER!!!!!!!" I screamed so loud causing him to run downstairs by that time there were guys standing behind me and in front of me
"Long time no see Carter..."Xando chuckled as he held me closer pressing the blade further into my neck the pain was starting to get to me
"Let her go Xando and we can talk this out like men" Carter tried to reason with him but he wasn't falling for it
"Nah ah...wrong move Carter. I don't think you realize how much of a fucking burden you've been to my plans and now I'm finally getting what I always wanted" He slowly bent down to my neck while still watching Carter and licked my neck with his tongue moving it in slow motion
I couldn't even really do anything because he had my body locked into his and I felt so disgusted at him doing that to me. I just wanted to escape this whole situation! When I tried to back away my neck from him he yanked my hair back.
"Ahhhh! Stop Xando you are hurting me!" I yelled at him
"Shut the fuck up ! If I can't have you no one can!" I can't believe he just said that to me
"If you follow us or even think about contacting her in anyway. The only thing you will find is her body floating in the damn lake!" I mouth to Carter everything will be ohkay even though I didn't know whether I would see my family again.
"Wait! Before you take me please please let me see my baby one last time..." I begged with everything inside of me
"Fine...you have 2 minutes!" Spen brought Madde down and I cried to her on how I was so sorry that mommy was leaving and may never be coming back I kissed her little cheeks and she smiled at me. How could I bring something so precious into this cruel ass world. I hand her back to Carter and he grabbed my hand.
"I love you Jhene and I will find you" He kissed me but I was yanked back
"Yeah yeah yawn! Let's fucking go I have no time for this sentimental bullshit! Remember what I said Carter" with that I had screamed at Xando to let me go back to my family but I was knocked out cold from one of the men
"That will teach her...."
