Mistakenly Unnoticed

Chapter 7

A vacation is what I need...I have to take a break from Carter and the family. It's time that I relax myself and actually become one with myself for awhile. I haven't decided where I'm going just yet but it will be my fun and down time. Carter will just have to understand. I think I'm going to invite Xando and Ty'Lee to come with me too! So I can know them better! Vacay shall bring me inner peace.

It was a Thursday and the bookstore was very slow. I walked into the mystery section of the store sorting books out that were misplaced by the customers that come in here daily! I saw Xando coming my way I can't lie I turn so red when he comes anywhere near me. Xando is just so idk how to describe it just yet I just know I have a somewhat of a good feeling about him.

"Hey Jhene how you doing today?" He smiled those pretty dimples

"Hi X...I'm good" I barely looked in his direction because I felt my face getting warm

"Why you so shy? Am I that ugly?" He chuckled

"Oh no no your fine..." I tried to explain myself

"Oh some fine now huh?" He smirked away

"I..I mean yeah...s-s-sorry I just get so nervous around you" I laughed a little

"Well don't be I don't bite I promise you that" He smirked and held my hand

"Listen I don't know if your interested but I wanted to go on vacation somewhere far away from this place and I want Ty'Lee to come too!" I looked at him

"I can make that happen let me know where you wanna go?" He smiled at me

"Wait wait I have to save up for this trip I don't have the money right now for it and..." I kept talking

"Whoa chill Jhene I'll pay for everything you and Ty'Lee you guys just chill out and have fun" He insisted

"I can't make you pay for everything...that's not right" I was so unsure

"Girlllllll! If you don't hush up and let him be a man and take us where ever we choose! It will be fun!" Ty'Lee chimed in while dancing around talking about what she needed to pack

"So what do you say? Yes or No?" He looked at me with hope

"Uhh..okay yes I'll go!" I laughed but how was I going to tell Carter about this??? I mean he isn't my man even though we live under the same roof and he can't control what I do no way

"Listen Jhene I promise you I'll show you a time you will never forget" He held my hands and looked into my eyes as if he could see right into me I had never felt this way before

"Okay well I'm leaving early and I'll get back to you guys on where we should go" I said my goodbyes and I didn't feel like calling Carter so I walked to the house which I know is dangerous but I'll be fine.

I finally made it to the gates of the house and security let me in I thanked them and I can hear Spencer and Carter trying to yell at me now especially because I didn't call and tell them I was walking when I shouldn't be.

I brace myself for the worse so as soon as I got into the house I tried to sneak pass the kitchen area but it was too late I heard Spencer call me into the kitchen I told him I was doing something but he didn't buy it.
