ive been on winter break and im ashamed i haven't written at least another chapter but im writing now..

calum:

don't get me wrong, living with michael was great but ever since he finally got together with ashton, they've been, how do i say, loud. really fucking loud. all the time. i suppose they have to let out the years of pent up sexual tension somehow but do they really have to do it here? i sigh, reaching for my headphones once i start hearing the moans followed by michael rustling around, probably for lube or whatever those two are into.

i drum my fingers on my laptop before opening up a new tab and typing into the search bar - what's the time in australia?
it was 9am, i figured luke would be up by now so i sent him a text.

oh calumity: hey lucas, u up yet?

lucifer: yeah no classes today too, whats up?

oh calumity: just checking in to see how u were.

oh calumity: hey how was ur date w jared last nite?

lucifer: oh he cancelled on me to help is ex ://

lucifer: i don't think we would've been a good match anyways...

oh calumity: oh shit, luke im so sorry :(

lucifer: thanks cal, u always know how to make me feel better but im ok really

oh calumity: ofc luke im glad ur ok <3

lucifer: i miss u cal <3

oh calumity: i miss u too luke <3

i smile down at my phone, unable to stomach the butterflies fluttering around in there. luke was all the way in australia and he still managed to have this effect on me. how messed up is this, i was falling for my best friend, wasn't i?

i yank of my headphones and head into the kitchen, pouring myself a glass of water. i take a big sip just as mike and ashton walk in. their lips swollen, hair disheveled and necks decorated with scratches and hickies. i watch as ashton walks or rather waddles in behind michael. i smirk, "ash you okay there? you're limping."
i watch as his face goes bright red, "yeah im fine," he squeaks out.
michael wraps an arm around his boyfriend's waist, pulling him close to his side and planting a kiss on ash's cheek. "hey don't tease him cal!"
i grimace, "keep the pda to a minimum guys, i already have to deal with your sex noises at night, give me a break!" michael laughs loudly and ashton buries his blushing face in his boyfriend's chest.

i sigh, leaning against the counter, can't help but wish luke was here so maybe i could have what mike and ashton have with him. mike and ashton have claimed the couch, cuddling and watching some movie, so i return to my room, just in case those two decide on round two. flopping onto my bed, i reach for my phone, surprised when i see another message from luke. curious i open it,

lucifer: i love you cal :)

my mouth stretches into a wide smile before i type out a quick reply and throw my phone somewhere onto my bed. i cradle my pillow into my chest as i try and fail to stop grinning. i was really gone for this boy wasn't i?

wow first chapter of 2017! happy new year you guys, i hope 2017 treats you well. i still have another week of break left so maybe ill update again (let's be real though, i probably won't..) so thank you for those who are sticking through this book, i know it sucks but 2017 will be the year i finally finish it!

q: what are some of your goals for 2017?

a: i want to be more social and open i guess, the whole try new things mumbo jumbo. and try not to be on my phone, computer to much but how well is that gonna work? also id like to finish up spn..
