Bianca's POV

Pumirma na ito. Pagkatapos na pagkatapos nun, nagpaalam na rin ako. Naghihintay si Papa Anton ko noh. I leave the place with a smile plastered in my face.

Everything's flowing smoothly. Hahaha!

Chapter 10

Tara's POV

After nung pagsama sa akin ni Kent kina Bianca, mas naging okay kami. Like, he'll be telling corny jokes na, smile and laugh, ask questions and etc. Bongga diba? We're really getting along na ngayon. Unfortunately, hindi na natuloy yung article namin sa magazine ni Mrs. Carolina. Nalaman nila na kapag itinuloy pa, hindi rin makakaabot sa March issue nila. Kaya eto ako ngayon, here ulit sa work.

Tumunog ang intercom.

Beep! 

"Bakit, Isabel?"

[ Ma'am, your friend Bianca is here. Should I sent her in? ]

Hala? Anong problema ni BIanca at napasugod pa dito? "Yes."

Maya maya pa ay bumukas na ang pinto ng opisina ko. "Frieeeend!"

I looked up. "Oh? What brings you here?"

"Di mo ba muna ako pauupuin?"

I rolled my eyes. "Have a seat."

Umupo ito. "Oh, thank you!" She chuckled.

"Ano bang kailangan mo?"

Bumuntong hininga ito. "Drop that question everytime I meet with you!" Umiling iling pa ito.

"Whatever, Ca. Bakit ka ba kasi andito? It's very unusual na pumunta ka dito sa opisina."

Ngumiti ito ng kakaloko. "Kasi, excited ako!"

Nangunot ang noo ko. "Huh? Saan?"

May inilabas itong papel sa bag nya. Iwinagayway pa nito sa harap ng muka ko. "Dito, friend."

I read it.

5 Rules for one week:

1. Ang bawat isa ay mabubuhay na parang isang single.

2. Ang bawat isa ay pwedeng gawin ang kahit ano within that week. (Example: Dates, Bar, Sex, Etc.)

3. Walang pakialam ang bawat isa sa gagawin ng isa.

4. One week leave from work.

5. Hindi ito dapat malaman ng parents nyo.

"What's with this?"

"I heard the same reaction." She rolled her eyes. "Kung hindi lang talaga ganito ang sitwasyon nyo ng asawa mo, iisipin kong compatible kayo."

"Same reaction? What do you mean? Naipakita mo na to kay Kent?"

"Oh yeah! Kita mo to?" Itinuro nya ang signiture ni Kent.

Nanlaki ang mata ko. He agreed with this? Tumingin ako kay Bianca. "Don't tell me.."

"Oh, I know right! Welcome frienddd." Ngumiti sya.

I sit back and closed my eyes. Napahawak ako sa noo ko. "You did that? And he agreed?"

"Ow come on, Ta. Sa galing kong mangumbinsi? Ikaw lang naman ang hindi bilib sa akin."

"E ano ba kasing makukuha ko dito? Si Kent marami. He can have every woman na makita nya. But in my case---"

"You can. See? Kaya ginawa ko to e. For me to see the real Tara, for you to feel how it's like to live again."

I opened my eyes and look at her. She winked. "But, Ca.."

"I don't take no for an answer, dear." Ngumiti ito. "This is your chance to find someone."

"Within a week?"

"Haay. Sino bang nanggagaya sa inyong dalawa? Sya o ikaw?" She rolled her eyes. "Nevermind. I'll help you naman e. Isa pa, gusto ko lang marealize mo na you can still have your own family with a man na gusto mo at mahal mo kung gugustuhin mo. E kasi sa nakikita ko sayo ngayon, you are telling yourself na makontento na sa kung anong meron when you perfectly know rin naman na meron ka pang magagawa to get what you want. So please, give yourself a chance."

Bianca looks dead serious. Napaisip ako. I know she's right. Bumuntong hininga ako. "Fine. One week lang naman 'to."

Bumungisngis ito. "Great. We'll have so many things and catching up to do, Ta." She winked.

Natakot naman ako bigla. But then alam ko na kailangan ko rin to. Ignoring the second thoughts I have in mind, I signed the contract.
