~the next day~
I woke up Mary & Nate held the small birthday cake in his hands
With the number 5 candle in the middle of it
I light up the candle
We sing her happy birthday
while she smiles at both of us..
"Make a wish Mary" I say smiling
She nods & closes her eyes
She stays there for a while & she opens her eyes
"I did it." She says
"Okay now blow the candle" I say smiling
She blows hard at it & the flame disappears
I giggle & we cut 3 slices
for all 3 of us..
I kiss her head & hold her closer to me
"Happy birthday princess"
"Thank you mommy" she blurts out
I raise a eyebrow
Nate looks at me & blushes
"You called me mommy..I'm honored sweetie thank you." I say & kiss her cheek
We all cuddle up & watch Disney movies together all day..
Like a true family does...
