Chapter 17: Expecting?

Winter's POV:
~the next day~
I don't feel well at all..
All day I've been in bed throwing up in a trash bin
I realized my period was suppose to happen..yesterday..
Weird it's never a day late or a day early..
I'm always on time.
I shrug & I stood in bed all day mostly..
I finally get out of bed to only almost pass out in the shower..
Nate helps me take a shower & dressed me
He feeds me soup & I look at him
"Nate I'm sorry I have you doing all of this." I say frowning
"It's okay babe I'll do it a hundred times" he says & kisses my forehead
I give him a faint smile
After I finished eating
I went straight to sleep..
~the next morning~
I wake up & I throw up again
I stand up & I walk on my own this time..
Idk what's going on with me? It's not a cold for sure..
"Sweetie we have to talk" my mom says & brings in Bernie
We all sit down & she closes the door
"Sweetie have you & Nate...you know?" My mom says referring to us being intimate
"Yes." I say blushing
"Okay then...have you got your period?" Bernie asks
I shake my head
"Not yet..I don't get it..I'm 2 days late on my period!" I say sighing
Their faces light up..
"Hun...I'm gonna go get some pregnancy tests" my mom says
"Ma the roads are snowed in" I say
"There's a lady next to us...who works at CVS. I'll just have her give me some free tests" she says
I sigh loudly
"Okay..lets do this." I say
~after a while~
She comes back with the tests & I grab them quickly
Nate is downstairs watching Disney shows with Mary
I rush into the bathroom..
Bernie & my mom rush in
I lock the door...
~5 minutes later~
Okay I peed on them all & I'm waiting on the timer..
My mom paces around
"You two are gonna get married right?" My mom asks
"Idk ma..maybe?" I say but it comes out more of a question
She sighs & continues pacing
While Bernie stares intensely at the timer
I frown
"If it's taking this long..it's negative. I can never have a kid." I say & I slightly tear up
Remembering my miscarriage....& how horrible it was for me to deal with that..
The timer goes off & I close my eyes
"Cmon you gotta look.." My mom says
I sigh & open my eyes
I look at the tests.
..................................
Positive. All Positive.
.................................
I teared up with tears of joy
"Omg I'm pregnant!" I say with a single tear rolling down my cheek..
My mom & Bernie hug me tightly..
I'm gonna be a mother!
~later in the night~
I'm getting ready for bed & Mary is sleeping with us this time..
Mary hops in bed & makes herself comfortable between me & Nate
"Mommy your smiling a lot!" she says pointing to the huge smile on my face
"I'm in a very good mood Hun" I say
She smiles & I give her the stuffed doll she sleeps with
She snuggles herself in my arms
I giggle & I look at Nate
"Nate I have some news" I whisper
"What's up?" He says
"Well...you know how I've been sick these 2 days?" I ask
He nods
"Yeah." He says
"Well...I found out what was making me sick." I say blushing
"What's up?" He asks
I sit up & Mary looks at me
"Nate..I'm expecting." I blurt out
He stares at me
"Whoa what?" He says smiling
"I'm pregnant" I say tearing up
He tears up & hugs me
"There's a little me or a little you in there!" He says rubbing my stomach
"Yes there is..I love you Nate." I say
"I love you too my queen" he says & pecks my lips
"Mary your gonna be a big sister!" I say
She squeals
"Yayy! Is it a boy or a girl?" She asks & places her head on my stomach
I giggle
"I don't know yet..we'll have to wait a while sweetie" I say pinching her cheek
She sighs
"Alright.."
"Let's sleep now my princess" I say & we all cuddle up
Nate kisses me & Mary's heads
"Goodnight my queen & my princess..& goodnight fetus Maloley" he blurts out the last part
We all start laughing..
"Really Nate?" I say laughing hard..
IM GONNA BE A MOTHER!!...
