Winter's POV:
~a week later~
9 days left until Christmas Eve.
Also tomorrow is Mary's 5th birthday
I'm eating lunch with Mary & Nate at his place
Which isn't small at all..it's actually pretty big..
He's playing with Mary
I see his phone buzzing..
I tap his hand
"Nate baby your phone" I say pointing to it.
He looks over & noticed it buzzing
He looks at it & puts it on silent
"What was that?" I ask
He shakes his head
"Nothing baby." He says & pecks my lips
I see Mary with her eyes covered
"Daddy! EWWW" she says laughing
He chuckles & I blush looking at her..
All off sudden I hear a banging on the door
He groans
"What is this?" I hear him mumble under his breath
I raise a eyebrow & follow him
I see him open the door
to see a light brown haired girl at the door
She is pissed off
She walks up to Nate
"Hiding my daughter from me now?" She says & hits his arm hard
He groans & rubs his arm
"I see you got a new girl.." She scoffs looking at me
I roll my eyes at her
She's the ex...it makes sense now..
"What do you want? & what are you wearing?" He asks
I see her dressed up in heels with stockings & a Gucci leather jacket on
"My new beau got me it..like it?" She asks smirking
"Actually...-"
"Daddy who's there?" I hear Mary ask
I run over to the kitchen & I grab Mary
"Don't worry Hun it's no one." I say & rush up the stairs without her noticing..
I lock us up in his room..
"Who is that lady?" She asks
"She's no one..daddy's talking to her right now" I say
I give her my phone to play with to keep her busy..
I hope to god Nate's dealing with this..
Nate's POV:
"What do you want" I ask rudely
"My daughter." She says
"Since when was she "your daughter" you weren't there every single day changing her diapers,teaching her how to walk & talk,you missed out on so many precious moments..why now?" I ask her
"I have a better life..plus I'm traveling a lot & I love it." She says
"Okay who's gonna be with Mary? Take her to school,feed her,bathe her etc?" I ask her
"My maid." She blurts out
"A maid??? YOUR NOT 17 YEARS OLD ANYMORE WAKE UP!" I say
"This is my daughter not yours...you disowned her days after you gave birth to her..you wanted nothing to do with her & I raised her on my own thank you very much..I've done very good for a single dad so...if you would so kindly leave my property." I say
She flips me off
"You weren't ready to raise that monster of a child & you know it!" She says in my face
"You want her yet you call her a monster? Heh. Leave now." I say pissed
She rolls her eyes
"Fine like I really need her to ruin my life anyway..goodbye Nate." She says & slams the door
Winter's POV:
I rush down the stairs with Mary
"What happened?" I ask
He hugs me tightly
"Everything's gonna be okay. All 3 of us are gonna be fine." He says & kisses both me & Mary
~later in the night~
I put on my heavy jacket when he stops me
"Mary's asleep.." He says & wraps his arms around me
"Nate I can't..tonight-" I say & he kisses my neck
"I-I r-really s-should g-go y-you k-know t-traffic.." I say & I stutter every word out
He giggles & slips off my jacket
I kiss him passionately & I wrap my legs around his waist
He carries me up the stairs & into his room..
He throws me on the bed
I giggle & he smirks
"I'm getting wine stay right there" he says
"Like this?" I ask posing in a seductive pose
"Yes like that." He says winking & leaves me
I stay put & he arrived with two full glasses of red wine
I drink half of mines & place it down
I lick my lips a little as some of the wine dripped down on my lips
He bites his lip & drinks almost the entire glass
He places his down & locks the door
He tackles me & starts kissing me
I giggle & wrap my arms around his neck
"You sure?" He asks as he kisses down my neck
I nod
"Yes." I say breathless
"We must be quiet though..Mary's asleep." He says
"Okay.." I say smirking
He smirks & I wink at him..
This is gonna be a eventful night for the two of us....
