Pacing back and forth on the porch of Miss LuLu's home, Aaron ran a worried hand through his short brown hair. It was nearing 11:55pm when the large tinted black ford escape truck pulled into view. Loud rap music blasted wildly, no regards to those that were sleeping when it came to a stop in front of Aaron.

"White boy." Maurice's somewhat deep voice greeted, as Aaron climbed into the backseat of the truck.

"Hey Aaron, what's up?" Darien spoke from the passenger side, extending his arm for a dap. Aaron had finally learned it, sliding his hand across Darien's and snapping back.

"Where is everyone else?" Aaron questioned, as Maurice turned down the radio some.

"No one else, just us. We don't need anyone else. Shipment isn't huge." Maurice replied, turning up the volume and rapping along to the song. Aaron nodded, taking in the leather seats of Maurice's truck, the beautiful interior and state of the art dashboard. He thought to himself how Maurice could afford such a car but he remembered what Cristal told him 2 days before.

It was hard for him to process the actual thought that him and Darien sold drugs, but he wasn't too interested in getting wrapped up with that. He had agreed to help, and help only. He was scared for his life, but was already running from something back home. So, he had to make a choice.

Soon, the car pulled to a abrupt stop and Aaron twisted his head to glance out the windows of Maurice's vehicle. The school that they seemed to pull up at looked almost like theirs, but newer and more maintained as Darien hopped out the car and exhaled.

"You coming or not?" Maurice grabbed Aaron's attention as he retrieved his keys from the ignition and tossed them into the pocket of the hoodie he wore. It was then that Aaron had noticed the matching black hoodies, black jeans and black timberland boots that Maurice and Darien had on. He looked down at himself, in an all black button up, fitted black slacks and matching black vans. Instantly feeling out of place, despite wearing the colors that he was told.

"You know the plan, right D?" Maurice spoke, reaching inside of the trunk of the car and grabbing a black duffel bag.

"Yeah, I know." Darien answered, pulling out three ski masks from the zipper compartment and passing one to Maurice. Aaron watched in amazement as Darien tossed him the third one, along with a pair of black gloves, pulling his overtop of his caramel colored skin.

"Put them on." Maurice ordered, scowling Aaron as he slowly lifted his mask and pulled it over his face. And then placed the gloves onto his shaky hands. Darien grabbed the bag from Maurice and started a walk towards the school. Just when Aaron thought that he was going to the entrance, he made a swift turn, heading over to the side.

Maurice pushed Aaron slightly before he opened his car door and pressed multiple buttons on the dashboard. Aaron watched in shock as Maurice's license plate folded over and hid the letters and numbers. Where did Maurice purchase a car like that? Maurice rolled his eyes at an lost Aaron before he parted his lips.

"Follow D. I'm taking care of something else first." Maurice told Aaron, as Aaron lightly jogged over to the direction he saw Darien walking too. Crouched in front of an window, Darien swiftly pulled his right foot back and shattered the glass of a classroom window. Aaron watched in awe, as Darien turned to him with a smirk.

"It's just glass, bruh. Yo... Mo, we in!" Darien shouted, as Maurice started jogging up to them with his hood pulled over his head. He pushed Aaron out of the way, climbing through the first floor window and walking behind Darien into the empty school hallways.

"Hey, won't they know it was a break in since we broke the window? And won't we get caught from security cameras?" Aaron questioned, following behind the two boys as they inspected themselves to see if they were hit with glass.
