Something's not right..

"Alleck?"

"Yes momma?"

"Have you seen Nick?"

"Oh, you mean dad?"

Napangiti siya sa tinuran ng anak. Parang nasasanay na ito na ituring si Nick na para bang tunay nitong ama.

"Yes."

"I saw him at breakfast."

I frowned. "Really? Why didn't I see him when we took breakfast together?"

"Actually di siya nag-join sa breakfast table. I just saw him bago siya lumabas ng bahay kaninang morning. He said he'd go to the market to buy some things for the vineyard. Did I say my tagalog right mom?"

I smiled, "Yes, you did son."

"O kayong mag-ina? Halina kayo't kakain na."

"Yes, mama. Nandiyan na po."

"Food!"

Lahat kami ay nagsalo-salo sa masarap na ulam na inihanda ni mama Rena. Alleck was awed with the different dishes in front of him which he haven't tasted before.

"These looks exquisite!"

"What a word to describe my cooking, young man." Ang natutuwang sabi ni mama Rena.

"Si Nick po." Tanong niya bago nagsimulang sumubo ng pagkain.

"Ah sabi niya kanina nasa vineyard siya at may inaasikaso lang."

Nabitin sa ere ang kutsarang hawak niya ng marinig ang sinabi nito.

Vineyard? Eh bakit market ang sinabi ni Nick sa anak ko?

Why did he lie?

"Sabi po ni Nick?" Tanong niya pa niya.

"Oo. Sabi niya sa akin kanina."

"Sino pong kasama niya?"

"Wala naman, mag-isa lang naman siyang umalis kanina. Bakit hija?"

""W-wala naman po."

"O siya, kumain na kayo."

"Opo."

Nang matapos ang tanghalian ay dumiretso sila ni Alleck sa kinaroroonan ng grand piano. She tutored her son for two hours. Pero sa loobb ng dalawang oras na iyon, her mind was never free from the though of Nick.

Naging apektado siya sa sinabi ni mama Rena kanina. The thought of him lying about his whereabouts has kept her thinking, it was driving her crazy..

Nasaan ito?

Bakit sa loob ng ilang araw, laging hindi ko alam kung nasaan ito?

Is there something wrong?

Did those men who wanted to kill her have already found their hiding place.

Kailangan na ba naming umalis ni Alleck?

"Hmmm... baby.. up for another round?" The woman chuckled.

Lacon got up. Isinuot nito ang itim na boxer briefs saka nagsindi ng isang stick ng sigarilyo. Lumipat ang tingin niya sa babaeng nakasandal sa headboard ng kama. She didn't bother covering her nakedness. Her tanned and sinewed skin glistenes with sweat. Her full breast in complete display in front of him.. tempting him..

Bumuga lang ako ng usok habang nakatayo sa paanan ng kama at pinagmamasdan ito.

The woman chuckled seductively. "You were so rough last night... you're a beast. And I love every bit of it.."
