Those dazzling lights, thise pretty diyas, those beautiful rangolis and then a beautiful partner to hold hands with.

  It was one of those beautiful moments. The terrace was filled with dazzling lights.
Kanan had his guitar while kavya sat next to him blushing.

"You know kavya, that day at your cousin's wedding....we were in terrace like this and i had proposed....and i had....", kanan tries to speak but is unable to speak due a lump in his throat and tears in his eyes

Kavya holds his hand tightly and gives her brightest smile possible.

"In this we are together, like we always were", she speaks softly

"I know....we were and we always will be", he smiles back wiping off his tears

"Accha, leave this emotional melodrama!..wanna listen to song?", kanan asks

"Umm....sure", kavya replies

"Kavya....i love you...more than you can imagine", kanan looks into kavya's eyes and they have a eye lock moment.

"Kanan....i may not remember our chemistry but i do love you and i look forward to grow old with you", kavya speaks

"By the way i bought something for you...", kanan speaks as he pulls out a bracelet from his pocket.
The bracelet is a made up of golden and blue beads with 3 words "K", "&" and "K with the beads

"Wow...its...just...s..so pretty!..but 2 K?", kavya asks surprised

"Ya...last time also i gave you a bracelet with only a K...we got separated...so this time....i got 2 K's", kanan smiles

"I am sorry....", kavya murmurs

"Oh...comeon kavya...it was not your mistake....the good thing is you are mine again....", kanan spoke

Kanan then pulls kavya towards the carpet he kept.
The carpet was surrounded by colorful lights.
Kavya holds kanan's hand tightly and at the same time, puts her head on his shoulders.

"Kanan...naina told me i fell down from clif...but i just feel i didnt suicide", kavya speaks

"Even i want to know what happened that day...", kanan speaks

"But how do we know it?"..

"Kavya, do you have any clue how you reached that hill?"

"No, i just dont have any memory'

"Hmm...even i feel...something is really wrong...i think now that we are in good terms...we should find out what happened that day.."

"Kanan....i just wish i can know what happened"

"I promise...i will findout that...",kanan speaks while kissing kavya's forehead

"No kanan!..i can't!", kavya spoke shocked

"But why?...you have to come!", kanan requests

Its early in the morning. Night before kanan gets a call from his mother that his engagement has been fixed and he has to come to india as soon as possible.
Kanan gets tensed.

"Kavya!..i cant get engaged to divya...i love you...come with me...i promise there wont be any mess...we will convince everyone..", kanan tries to convince

"But kanan...how can we do it in such a short span?", kavya asks

"Before my engagement its ayaan bhai's marriage!...we have to stop his marriage also!...", kanan speaks

"But why?", kavya asks confused

"Because dumbo!..my brother still loves your sister!", he replies

"But--", kavya is cut in mid

"You are comming!..thats it!", kanan speaks

"Ok!", kavya replies

Kanan's POV

My heartbeat becomes abonormally fast as soon as i reach home. I called kavya with me but the fact is my whole family with screw me up if they see kavya.

Last time ayaan bhai's marriage got broken up because of kavya and this time also we plan to do the same!
But i just cant let my brother marry any girl other than nidhi bhabhi!

As soon as i enter my whole family have their eyes popped out.
My mom comes forward and instead of a welcome hug.
A tight slap lands on my cheek

"Teri himmat kaise hyi isse yaha lane ki? (How dare you bring her here?)", mom askes angrily

"Mom...kavya is innocent", i reply

"Innocent??...she destroyed everything!..she was drunk and everything? How can you be nice to a girl who broke ypur brother's marriage? ", my mom demands

"Mom!..its not what you think!", i speak

"Kanan?...kavya??", divya comes running down.

"You...are...aliv...ok?", divya asks kavya

"Yea...who are you?", kavya asks puzzled

"Well i am divya...kanan's to-be-fiance", she replies

"Umm...hi", kavya replies

"Divya...i had told you about kavya but still you...didnt say anything?", i ask annoyed

"Kanan...i--", divya tries to speak

"Kanan!..tell kavya to leave right now!..", mom orders
