We have to keep a secret

Kavya's POV

Flowers, gardens, natural beauty makes me feel alive.
Everything about them is so beautiful. And i can spend all of my life staying close to them.

Suddenly i see vinnie taking selfies. She is busy posing. Suddenly a fun idea strikes me.
I takes water pipe and point it towards her.

She gets all wet and looks at me with a dead look.
I laugh suddenly i feel like i have done something like this before!
Have i?
Uggh!

I see vinnie running towards me with lots of sand in her hand, i scream but she does not stop.
She runs towards me and then covers me with lots of sand.

I give her a angry look but both of us end up laughing.
Suddenly her phone rings.
She looks at me and then looks away and then heads to cover of garden to talk.

It makes me suspicious but i ignore. After all everyone needs privacy.

I head towards me room, i am all dirty. I head towards shower and bath. After freshing up i pick out a pink tee and black capri to wear.

I tie my hair in a high pony.
Suddenly i find my bracelet missing. I was wearing it when i woke up from coma.
I dont know who gave it to me but its very pretty.

I search it at every corner of my room but i cant find it.
It makes me cry because that bracelet was a part of my one year life that i forgot.

Vinnie sees me crying. She rushes to me.

Vinnie's POV

My phone rings. Its from kanan.
I look cautionatly at kavya and then move to corner.
I cant let kanan know that kavya is living with me.

"Hello kanan?", i speak

"Hey vinnie", he speaks coldly

"how are you?", i ask

"I am ok...i called to tell that tomorrow i am leaving from london to come to boston", kanan replies

"Ok great!", i rely happily while he just gives a short "hmm" as reply

"Hope to see you soon", i reply

"Hmm..yeah", kanan still gives a boring reply

"Kanan, i miss that old kanan, who gave fun reply not this cold rude kanan", i speak

"Vinnie stop it", he speaks

"Cant you be that old kanan again?", i ask

"That old kanan died", kanan gives a rude reply

"kanan!..please dont speak that way!", i speak

"Vinnie please dont force me to be nice and all!", kanan speaks

"But kanan-", i speak

"I have changed!..accept it and move on!", kanan speaks rudely

"Just because kavya forgot you?", i ask

"Vinnie i have some work to do, talk to you---"

"No kanan, not again, you just cannot avoid this topic everytime!", i speak

"Listen vinnie i am in no mood to talk about that girl!...i hate her name, i hate everything about her!", kanan speaks

"this was fate's cruel game and not kavya's fault!", i speak

"Oh really??!!...did you forget what your dad told?..kavya suffers from amnesia, and it sometimes happens when during that accident that person wanted to forgot a memory. She wanted to forget every momnet spend with me!! That why her brain reacted that way causing it to forget me!", kanan screams at me

"Kanan, i--"

"Bye vinnie", kanan cuts the phone while it makes me very sad

I head back to house. Kavya has made me all wet and now i have to change.
I head towards my room and change my dress.
Drying my hair with a hair dryer, i decide to check on kavya

When i head towards kavya's room i see her crying.
I run towards her.

"Kavya...what happened?", i ask worried

"Vinnie...my bracelet....it...got...lo.
Lost!", kavya cries like a little baby

"Aww...kavya dont cry....we will find!", i assure her

"Vinnie....it was my favorite....", she cries

"Dont cry....come on lets find it", i speak while kavya nods wiping her tears

We search all of her room, but we dont find it. It dissapoints her.
Suddenly i drag her to my garden, because last time we were there only.
Luckily my guess is correct. Its fallen on the ground just next to the rose plant, which kavya was watering.
Kavya runs like a kid, and wears it immediately. It makes me smile, even though she is elder than me. But, less mature than me.

"Thank you soo much V!", kavya hugs me tightly

"Your always welcome Kavya!", i smile at her.

"Kavya do you know who gave you this bracelet?", i ask her

"No...i just know i was wearing it when i woke up from coma", she replies honestly

Poor kavya, she does not know that this bracelet was given to her by kanan. When he had proposed to her.
Even though she does not know it, but it makes me happy to know kavya is so much attached to this bracelet.

"Kavya, do you remember kanan?", i ask

"Um...i...", she tries hard to think

"Remember, doctor kanan who treated you?", i ask

"Yes!..doctor kanan!..who treated me and brought me back from coma!", she smiles.

Wish kavya, i could reveal that kanan was more than just doctor, he was your love.
But revealing it can give you pressure and can lead you to go into coma again.

"Yeah...he is comming to boston...and he will live with us", i tell her

"A boy living with us?..how did your dad  allow?", kavya asks worried

"Umm...kavya i did not tell my dad about", i speak

"What?...you will keep him hidden?..", she asks stunned

"Kavya..he saved your life?..cant you return this favor by letting him live?..he did not find a house...", i try hard to convince her

"But vinnie, i have to lie to your and my dad!", kavya speaks

"Kavya we have to keep a secret", i speak

"Umm...ok..but its going to be tough...i will ask simi once", kavya speaks

"Noooo!!!!..not simi, she will never let you do that", i speak

"But V-"

"Leave it kavya, poor kanan, dont worry i will tell him that he cant live with us...its ok kavya...he saved your life do what?...if you dont want to help him thats ok", i taunt kavya while kavya's eyes gets filled with guilt.
It makes me laugh but i control my feelings

"Ok...i will keep it secret from everyone....when is he comming?", kavya asks

"Well he is comming tomorrow!", i speak while kavya looks at me surprised.
