Eve stared up at the old wizard curiously. The man- Mr. Smith- said that he wanted to talk to her out of the safety of her home, which was understandable considering he wouldn't be able to get inside, but she was cautious. The last old wizard she had met, had severely angered her and she had almost attacked him.

Now, this man is claiming to be Albus' husband.

She stared at him in shock, it was definitely unexpected. Eve looked on at the seemingly friendly wizard, "Eve," she introduced herself, holding out her hand for the man to take.

"Lovely to meet you," he smiled kindly with his blue eyes and shook her hand, "Now, I just wanted to get to know you."

Eve raised a disbelieving eyebrow at the man, "I'm sorry, but from my experience with your husband, I doubt it."

"Yes, I apologize on Albus' behalf," Wilbur said, the smile still on his face, "He's just very protective of his students and assumed untrue things when Madam Pomfry told him you were here. It was very wrong of him to do so."

She looked at the wizard and nodded her head in agreement, "What did you want to talk to me about then, Mr. Smith?" She walked over to one of the logs and sat down, motioning for him to sit beside her.

He happily took the said and looked over to Eve, "I was just wondering about your connection to Mr. Lupin."

"You mean if I know he's a werewolf?" Eve assumed.

"Yes," Wilbur nodded, "I just wanted to make sure you wouldn't-"

"I wouldn't dare tell anyone about what he was," Eve told him shaking her head, "I know werewolves are considered just as evil as Faeries, except you can kill a werewolf."

"I suppose that's true," he admitted.

Eve nodded in agreement before abruptly stopping. She turned towards Wilbur and narrowed her eyes dangerously, "How do you know where I live?"

"A lovely Fae by the name of Emitt gave me direction," Wilbur told her, "I believe you know him."

"Emitt told you were I lived?" She asked, and he nodded, "I'll have to have a talk with him about giving my address to strangers."

"Shall I leave it to you then?" Wilbur said as he stood up from the log, Eve soon following, "I was lovely meeting you, Miss Eve."

"You as well, Mr. Smith," Eve smiled kindly before turning into a Faery and flying off towards Emitt's house.

After Emitt and Eve had their spat, Eve went out through the forest, exploring more of her domain. She flew in and out of the trees, trying to avoid other Faeries homes, but occasionally ran into a few making their way home.

"Hello, Eve."

"Good evening, Robert."

She flew past the final Faery house in that section of the forest and flew into the centaur and unicorn territory. She continued to fly between the trees and almost ran into a centaur, "So sorry, Bane."

"It is okay, Eveling," he said nodding her off.

"Have a good evening, Bane!" She called back to him as she flew off, deeper into the Forbidden Forest.

Eve continued through the forest until she came upon a giant oak tree. She had never seen the likes of it before. The Faery stared at the tree in awe as she flew up to it. She gently placed her small dark hand on it, and was shocked by the amount of magic flowing through the one tree. Eve flew higher and higher into the branches and marveled at the markings covering the tree.

Runes were printed into the tree, not carvings, almost tattoos. As she flew she brushed her hand over the runes and smiled at the rush of magic that went through her fingertips.

The tree was made of magic.
